Has potential, poor app tanks product
The guitar is actually really cool. But the accompanying app needs an overhaul in order to realize the full potential of this mini guitar. The songs are WAY too fast for a beginner. The metronome won’t go below 80 bpm which should be an extraordinarily easy fix and major product design fail. There’s numerous examples of how to teach a song via an app. Yousician is probably the best example. This app doesn’t show the strumming pattern and just rolls through the chords. In summary, the physical guitar is actually really cool, but the weak, underdeveloped app robs the guitar of its potential, and guarantees customer disappointment and high return rates. I’m not sure about the five star reviews but I’m suspicious that they’re written by friends and/or employees of the company

What an Amazing & Magical App!
Not quite sure what’s going on with the negative reviews. This app is fun, colorful, and inspiring! I’m 27 and learned guitar at the age of 7. For my dyslexic brain I would have love this waaaaay more then black and white lines of music notes. They even have that hall of fame to inspire kids to want to post videos!! How cool is it to be a kid right now! You can even dress up your avatar!!

Had such potential but disappointed
Bought the guitar for my 8 yr old she was so excited to play since it was smaller then regular guitar and we thought with the app this would be a great way for her to learn the chords and play songs. WRONG! It had so much potential and still could be great if they made some much needed changes. The songs should have more instructions with them showing where to place the fingers and when to strum. Also would be nice if it followed u not u trying to follow a really fast pace song. Also only has 1 game to play with the guitar and that goes so fast it doesn’t even let a beginner find the right note before it tells you ur wrong. I don’t normally write reviews and I actually just sent an email to the company explaining my disappointment. This has the potential to be great and I love the guitar itself it’s just the app expects way to much from children supposedly as young as 3, no way! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT THE WAY IT IS CURRENTLY!
