Use Google Apps to avoid data loss
Here is my experience: I never backed up my contacts on Google and after a software update most of my contacts are gone from both my phone and iCloud.
I contacted the apple support team and they told me that you need to buy apple subscription to fix.
I felt it’s an extortion, they can push whatever updates to anyone and ask money for it.
I learned from hard way. Now I will not backup anything on apple in fact apple has become greedy company that wants to cheat its customers.
I have started using Google one which is free and it can make sure my contacts are not disappear suddenly.

Never updated, still awful
There are so many problems with Contacts that I don’t have the time to write them all here. 📝Let’s just list a few: 🔴Not customizable; you have to use the fields they give you; can’t add, delete or move them. 🔴It duplicates contacts and there’s no built in way to delete them. 🔴The address interface is terrible; you can’t past a full address; instead you have to enter street, city, state and zip all separately. 🔴Once a contact is created, it’s difficult to remove using your phone; I have to use my Mac to delete a contact. 📝You’d think that an app that touches so many other apps would get a lot more attention from Apple to make improvements.

Dédoublements exponentiels
Il faut effacer les noms un à un. En réouvrant l’application , les contacts effacés fastidieusement s’ajoutent aux anciens. Ils se reproduisent comme des lapins. Impossible d’éditer les listes. Gestion des doublons introuvable. Problème similaire sur le Mac. Drôle de méthode de gestion de contacts, les perdre dans la masse plutôt que simplement les enlever.

The forever bug where the new postal address label duplicates across the other addresses. Further Apple shame.
No saved contacts
I had this issue with my old phone none of my contacts were saved and when I went to put my contacts back in again with names it kicks me of app i have tried to fix it so many times i have watched multiple videos and updated my phone constantly. I recently got a new iphone and thought the problem would be fixed but again its still happening…its really annoying to call anyone now!

The worst app on the entire iOS platform
This is just the most burdensome app in the entire Apple platform.
I recommend if you own a Mac don’t install it on your computer. It’s that bad. Every time you try to use your otherwise seamless Apple platform you will get to like pulling up a contact on your computer or typing it in and up the spiral of death. It happens every day. Nothing about owning Apple products aggravates me more. Nothing even comes close. I’m so aggravated with Apple products and this stupid thing aggravates me every day. Every. Day. It doesn’t work in every time you have something to doin contacts it’s a 15 second of adding a contact or changing a phone number or something and it takes minutes of staring at this beach ball.
Fix this. This has to be the lowest hanging fruit and so easy.

Multi delete contacts
Why don’t you bring the functionality to multi delete contacts! So annoying to be deleting contact one by one in this day and age of advanced tech!

Why does it say 4+ LIKE WHAT!!!!!! 🙀 I don’t even understand why the heck four 4️⃣ year olds would have their friend’s contact when they’re 4 , the rating is so stupid but, the whole app is AMAZING expect, the rating. So contacts, please 🙏 change the rating to at least 7+ or 8+.
