  • Save memory on your phone and delete app

I have tried to use this app several times, I was expecting a google maps like experience if not better, after all its “Landrover” it is as many have said completely useless. I have kept revisiting App Store hoping for an update with loads of bug fixes, like most developers do or when they launch something this bad, withdraw it. LandRover should remove this as the experience is more damaging to the brand.

  • LR 405 Owner

Useless. I previously had the app but deleted it as it always showed my car on a street in London that I once drove along (never even parked there). I thought I would give the app one more try and downloaded it again. Unfortunately my car still looks to be a couple of hundred miles away in London.
The vehicle shows in the correct location on the Landrover Remote App.

  • App doesn’t sync to car

I have had this app for several years when it worked fine however, for the last two years I have been unable to sync it with my Discovery.

I have spoken to my dealer who can’t fix it and reviewing Land Rover forums it seems to be a common problem with no one being able to provide a solution.

App is a waste of time and effort.

  • Land Rover Route Planner App

Absolute waste of time, app doesn’t allow me to log in says can’t find car have reset, logged out, rebooted tried everything to get this to work and main dealership also doesn’t have a clue, well done Land Rover 100k car with all these promised features which don’t work.

Have also emailed JLR on several occasions on this with no response absolutely shocking service from JLR

  • Useless

This app is supposed to let you plan a route which will then automatically sync to your vehicle. While it will do the former, it hasn’t been able to do the latter for 2 years now in my case. Land Rover state they are aware and “due to technical advances will not be providing a solution or update…you will only be able to sync a route from the main InControl website…”

What’s the point of this app then, why hasn’t it been removed from the store and when are we going to get an app that uses these ‘technical advances’…?!

  • iOS app fails to sync to car

The whole purpose of this app is to Plan - Sync - Drive -Arrive (LR’s description) and like so many other reviews on here the iOS app simply fails to sync with my LR navigation system. This renders this app utterly useless and leaves me and others with no other option than to sit in the car and manually type in the destination whilst everyone sits there waiting to leave.

  • No longer works

The only reason I have this app is to push a navigation location to my Range Rover so that when I get into the vehicle it is pre-loaded and I can just start driving. The functionality to connect to my vehicle stopped working months ago and there have been no app updates. Useless and frustrating app.

  • Pathetic

Users can’t login to Navigation in the car…. “Sorry something wrong our end” !! Therefore app can’t sync rendering it useless.
Despite recent map updates, postcode locations that appear on all other Nav products simply don’t appear on “HERE”.
You have to have the car engine running for 40 minutes to update map version.
This crap must have been written by five-year-olds on bring your kids to work day. Shocking junk from a no longer premium manufacturer.

  • Useless app

This app used to allow me to send a route from the app to my vehicle’s navigation system. That is really the only reason to use this app and now can’t even do that. The app was last updated 9 months ago even after repeated complaints. Before that, it was updated 4 years ago. Definitely not a priority for Land Rover. Land Rover needs to do better for such expensive vehicles.

  • It has issues

Used for quite a while with no problems, sat in the house planned a journey and sent to car. It then starts telling me car is parked about a mile away, it’s actually outside my house. Problem was the app in the car had logged me out, no indication I needed to log back in again, so assumed problem was with ‘route planner’. It’s now back to working ok but am constantly having to check I’m still logged in in the car (2017 Evoque)
