  • Useless

Cannot register an account unless you have a UK mobile number. Pretty stupid given that the UK does get a few tourists each year.
  • Easy to use. Almost takes the sting out of paying to park.

First of all, I don’t enjoy paying for parking.
But where I must, this is an easy to use app.
I can only speak from an iPhone users point of view but this app identifies the nearest parking spots using GPS, allows payment using ApplePay, and utilises both the magic island display and Lock Screen to display time remaining on your session. It also allows extensions of parking sessions if the spot allows.
It’s also easy to add you’re vehicle.
I’ve knocked a star off as there’s no Apple Watch complication as yet. That would be useful.

  • Was great, not any more.

This app used to be great, so easy to manage but they have since brought in the ridiculous change by a number of councils in terms of if you leave you are unable to return within 2 hours which would be fine but the way they have done this within the app is poor. If you fail to extend before the parking session runs out you are deemed to have left and with zero grace time. Previously, if it expired you could add a new session as you have not left the car park but now failure to extend you are left with no option to leave the car park. Ridiculous, please use common sense and at least add a 15min grace period which ticket inspectors are bound by before they can issue a ticket to set up a new session.
