Prehistoric app
Where to start? This is like an app from 5 to 10 years ago. Clunky, instructions unclear, does not retain user information, contact phone number is out of service, would not work to dispense electricity. One of the worst apps I’ve ever used. And that’s saying something! Does not deserve one star.

Needs a lot of development work
On the off chance that either Shell or the developers look at reviews, both need to know that this app needs some serious development work and its failings have put me off using the Shell station in Holloway Road, London. What’s more, I would avoid other Shell recharging points that use Smoov until it is improved and updated.
In particular, echoing other reviewers, it has failed on several occasions to start a charging session, which is a waste of my time (and battery charge getting there in the first place).
Overall it is a very slow and clunky app that tarnishes Shell’s reputation as it just doesn’t work the way that it should.

Hopeless
If I could score an app less I would. Completely unintuitive and unfriendly to use.
Shell have partnered with the wrong company if this is the best app they can offer for their Electric chargers in the U.K - until they get the basics right I won’t be using their charging facilities - they don’t make petrol car owners go through this rubbish to draw petrol, why EV owners - just use a contactless credit card. It’s not complicated!
