Crashes seconds after starting
Using this with the 1s and Nike running. The app crashes a few seconds after launching. Other gripes: the app takes over the voice feedback of the phone, which lowers the music volume considerably. It also starts recording data from zero, which ruins the range of the data; it would be preferable if it waited until it had a stable reading before starting to write data.Show less-Scipio-

Mi HR is a handy app which unlocks a Mi Band 1S or 2 so the live heart rate data is available in your favourite fitness tracking app. MotiFIT is the best one I've found for workouts, and Mi HR generally works well with that. Once in MotiFIT the HR data can be exported as CSV - useful on an iPad because Apple Health is not available on it for some bizarre reason! High HRs during a workout are now accurate - for a while values too low were recorded due to an issue with Xiaomi's algorithm.
It's important to close Mi HR before using Mi Fit (double-press Home, scroll across and swipe up on it) because Mi HR will auto-connect even if running in the background, preventing a sync.
I thought there was a bug with the alarm not cancelling on the Mi Band 2 but have discovered you now have to long-press the button, aka the Snooze feature that's just been rolled out in Mi Fit.
The dev continues to add features, and I'm looking forward to an interval HR measuring option that is apparently in the pipeline. It would also be good if the Stats section went back more than a month.Show lessCrosschecker

Bought the full app unlock, it worked for 3 months (very buggy at the time, convoluted process for connecting with the miband, terrible battery draining and then after a few hours it would just unpair and require another 5 minute pairing dance) I deleted the app and stopped using it at that time. Then I decided to give it another shot, just to be fair to the developer a month ago; the app no longer gives me access•tells me to purchase an unlock. Three weeks of back and forth being asked for my purchase code and screenshots for some reason (found it and gave it to the developer seemingly for no purpose). The developer said it is not their problem, and told me to contact Apple. I kept my purchase and have not asked for a refund from Apple (a convoluted process) I don't feel comfortable reviewing an app I haven't paid for. Cannot recommend purchasing the unlock of this app for miband users.Show lessL8L@

Just downloaded this and it works great. Love that it enables the heart function so that it can work on my running app!Dashodad
Impossible
When you download the app you have 10 minutes to try it. Minus the nice introduction of the developer while exercising and going through settings, you have about 1 minute to measure something. I have s mi 2 that was properly detected by the app but could not get the app measure anything within the 10 minutes.
The business model of the app is to charge 99c for each continuous measurement. And yes, you buy them 1 at a time. This is a bad model because at the price of a mi 2 plus 50 measurements I can buy a high-end fit-bit with free continuous heart rate measurement. So what's the point?Show lessBenchuki
