Ruined the app
I understand you want to make money from the app but £54.99 a year is too much for something that only saves what you lift. It was a decent app but now it won’t let you on it without paying which is a shame
Nice log but needs fixing.
Love the app to easily log my workouts by exercise which makes it easy to look back and see what I did for that day’s body part. But not all features are working and it’s shame because one of the features that I liked was the graph to see improvements or setbacks. The designer alleges that he is too busy to keep updating and fixing. That’s a shame since I paid for the year to use this app.
Update: it’s been several months and still no update to fix and have the graphs working.

Beautiful UI but costs more than music streaming
The UI/UX is lovely and entering workout data into this app feels much nicer than having to open up a spreadsheet on your phone.
After you enter in a few workouts you get a story about how it’s hard to develop mobile apps as a college graduate, and you become completely blocked out of the app unless you choose to subscribe for $10/month. Sorry, I would pay maybe $1 or $2 a month, but this app is not worth as much as Spotify or Netflix.

Poor form (pun intended)
Started using this app due to the simplicity, and not having to carry a notepad with me in the gym.
After a week and a half, mid workout I got paywalled without warning and no way to see what I had done or continue to log without paying.
Luckily I only had 1 1/2 weeks of data in the app.
I deleted the app, then re-downloaded to see if I can get access to my workouts.
Next I reached out to support through the app, a week ago and have not received any response. So I sent another message today - hopefully I get a response.
Although I have re-downloaded I am afraid to log anything, as I do not want to get cut-off mid workout, being forced to pay.....
The simplicity is great for my needs, but not if I am going to forced to pay... especially mid workout.

Forced subscription? Seriously?
I understand that the you need the money and it's a norm to have a subscription these days, but just busting out an unclosable pop-up that demands a subscription is not the way too do it. All the history of my logs is there and I can't even access it. I don't have a choice at this point. Not even any buffer period to decide. I might have payed a one time fee if that was an option, but now this practice just pisses me off. I'm definitely not paying for it now.

I used to love it
This was my favorite workout app for quite a few years until I received a notice to start paying “mid-workout.” I would’ve gladly paid a monthly fee a long time ago. I even expressed my thoughts a week ago to no avail. Furthermore, all of my workout data for years isn’t accessible. Just send me a notice that you want to be paid before I’m 5 sets into a circuit. I can use a piece of paper and excel sheet for free- I used to be so happy with this app. In my opinion, the founder doesn’t want support- he wants to move on and receive passive revenue. If that’s the case, I wish I could give it zero stars. Also - $5 a month is only a couple less than some of the most major personal training apps- I would’ve been happier paying $1/month or a large lump sum

Best weight lifting tracking app on the store
I wanted an app that just allowed me to log my lifts to track my progress. Other similar apps were frustrating making me add exercise routines, that is possible with this app, but offers much more flexibility and feels much more like a diary to track my weights. It also has a feature to show how your lifts are improving for each exercise which is great.

Simple and easy to use on the fly
It’s a simple log to replace a pencil and note book. Makes it easy to record your work outs as you go. No pre-planning necessary. Just lift and log it. Easy to repeat, add, edit, delete sets. Also, it automatically highlights any 1 rep max - nice bonus.
Sudden lock out of all history
I used the free app for over a year, but could never export my data because once Twitter Digits became defunct the developer provided no other way to make an account or export data.
Then this update directs me to go to a settings section that doesn’t exist to enter an email address. Still can’t export any data.
And finally a sudden, unannounced demand for subscription before I can even see any of my previous information ...
Not a good way to run a product, Jake.

So Sad
As others have mentioned, this was the best simple way to log your workouts without any of the nonsense most of the other apps on here made you endure.
Unfortunately, the way that this pay-wall rollout was done was so shortsighted. $8 a month for a glorified notepad is way off base. I imagine the user base of this app has plummeted as a result of the shady way this was done. I understand that the developer wants to be transparent, but not offering a free version with an upgrade option is just foolish at this point.
I’ll just log my lifts on a different app. So sad...
