  • Needs individual mark read button

Would love to see the ability to individually mark read each blog so you could manually go through the blogs or subscriptions. What’s the chance you’ll be able to go through all of your articles at once?

Good suggestion and something I will look into; I need to make sure I can make a good interface for it since I don’t want a user interface which is too crowded with buttons/settings. Added 2019-02-19: Feature now implemented using a long-click on the feed header.
  • So glad I found this!

Simple. Efficient. Best news aggregator app out there! More ppl need to know about it. My only wish list item - a more "neutral" app icon. :) Keep up the great work!
  • Has potential but not up to scratch

The display that this RSS reader provides is really useful. This is a a display I wish other apps would use. However the rest of the app itself is so limiting that it’s not a practical reader. It doesn’t integrate with other accounts (eg Feedly), although it does accept OPML files it only reads the feeds and not the groups so if you import, as I did, 300+ feeds they’d lost all grouping. This is a massive flaw. With work this could be a great reader, but it’s not there yet.

Hi! If you'd like me to have a look at your OPML file from Feedly, please get in touch with me using the support mail address. An issue with OPML is that it's not really a fixed standard so things like groups are difficult to support for all exported OPMLs since different services use different ways to specify the group, but I'd be happy to see if I could make it work with your Feedly export.
  • Awesome, lightweight RSS Reader

This is easily the best news reader! Easy to use, many articles visible at once, you can group feeds, and now you can swipe out of the safari web viewer!

Thanks for continuing to update this!
  • Great RSS Reader

As others have already expressed, Pulse Reader used to be my most-used app, until LinkedIn bought it and ruined it. Now Heartfeed is the best with no peer!
  • By far the most used app on my iPhone

A great replacement for the old Pulse app. Absolutely recommended!
  • Support other languages

Hi, for the second time! Please support other languages especially right to left scripts!
  • Best RSS aggregator

I got this app shortly after LinkedIn pulled the plug on Pulse and I still use it daily. By far the best news aggregator available and most definitely worth the few bucks.
  • Wonderful reader

I loved Pulse way back before it was acquired by LinkedIn, and was never satisfied with any other newsreader until I found Heartfeed. I hate all those awful apps that try to predict what you want to read, because they never get it right.

This app is the real deal, and I wish more apps on the app store were as simple and straightforward as this app.

  • Most efficient newsreader

You can review the most news you are interested in in the least amount of time. I suggest the developer make a simple graphically enhanced discovery page with an index of popular feeds so users without experience in rss can just easily add interesting feeds. This should help explode the use.

    Developer Response

Thanks for the kind words, and I agree with the discovery of feeds; that's by far the weakest spot of the app in my opinion. I'm working on adding something like you suggested, and in the latest version I've included some foundation so that I later on can help with discovery.
