  • Another Pulse Convert

I was also a daily user of the Pulse app. I love the layout of this app and I like how easy it is to rearrange your list of feeds within a group. Thank you to the person who recommended it and I am relieved to finally find a replacement for a broken app. Please never change the layout!
  • Good app

Keep up the good work reminds me of what my old news reader was like
  • Excellent

This app is quickly shaping up to be an excellent replacement for those who prefer the original Pulse grid reader layout. The developer is very involved and is taking feedback and making frequent updates. So long Linkedin Pulse.
  • Finally!

Thank you so much. I had basically quit using an rss reader after LinkedIn butchered Pulse. Saw the thread where you decided to write a replacement and immediately tried it out. After seeing it in action I was more than happy to pay for unlimited feeds.
  • Pulse has returned......

Beautiful first start please don't sell your baby. Be true to your fans and you will have a strong base get the word out.
  • Thank you!

Feels like home again. Losing Pulse was like being kicked out of my dream home that was built exactly the way I wanted it. Thank you for letting me curate the sources I want to read again. I love the simplicity too. If you can possibly add the thumbnail pictures back in that would be great. I prefer the quicker read of pictures. More Instagram than Twitter.

  • Somehow, Better than Pulse

Never expressed such a sentiment before, but...I want to give this creator more money to more adequately express my thanks! This app has all the best of Pulse (minus initial images, which I understand is currently in the works), including a perfect reimagining of the data-concentrated grid layout. But the app is still fast and lightweight--for me at least, runs better than Pulse ever did (certainly in its latter, slowly atrophying days). A thoroughly considered user experience, including an unexpectedly helpful start tutorial.

At first I missed the pictures. Now I like the text-only. May I suggest, after pictures becomes an option, that you keep a text-only mode, for faster loading/less data (or in my case, being able to browse in the office without looking like I'm larking on Pinterest)?

  • Currently the best RSS reader

I have to say this is now my favorite RSS reader because with this app I can read all my news and it is very easy to navigate. For an app that just came out, I find it to be really well made with very little bugs. Moreover, the developer seems to care a lot about what users think about his because according to the app Facebook page, the developer tries to implement features recommended by it users. I will be waiting for the next update because I read that the next iteration of the app will have thumbnail pictures.

  • Finally, a substitute for Pulse

Ever since LinkedIn ruined Pulse, I've been looking for something for browsing my favorite feeds. I tried a lot of other apps, but still the horizontal layout works best for me. This app, written by another Pulse devotee, is the best Pulse alternative that I've found yet.

At this point, it's fairly no frills - I definitely miss the thumbnails and sexy design of Pulse - but I'm finding that the functionality is worth sacrificing eye candy for. I hope this app sticks around, I use it every single morning.

  • So complicated to set up!!

Can't find categories to choose from....getting just a beige screen with grey rectangles when I type in websites. Will keep trying since I really wish there was a replacement for pulse! Though wish I didn't pay yet....if you're asking for a fee for a news app, I expect to be paying for an awesome user experience....this is definitely not that as of right now.
