Excellent RSS reader!
As with many others here, I was searching for a replacement to the excellent Pulse reader which LinkedIn so unceremoniously killed. A few searches directed me to an excellent Ars Technica thread where this reader was mentioned, so after having tried a few of the other "highly-rated" readers I gave this one a shot. Within 10 minutes I gladly paid the $2.99 to unlock all the feeds. Clean, simple interface and easy to add feeds. I'm glad Simon wrote this app, many thanks!Show lessDanDRuiz

At last a replacement for Pulse
LinkedIn's purchase and subsequent murder of the Pulse app was a sad series of events for RSS lovers. Happily the author of this app agreed and wrote this as an alternative for those mourning Pulse's passing. It's functional rather than feature rich and the feed search could be a little slicker but this is a great replacement for Pulse and recommended for anyone who misses that great little app. Massive hats off to the developer for making this.Show lessKaraoke Soul

I use this app not only to review news, but also for Pubmed news feeds to review the latest research on various keywords. The dev is amazingly responsive and is devoted to making this app awesome. Highly recommended!!AppReview20
Pulse News Reincarnated!!!
Very reminiscent of the original Pulse News reader pre LinkedIn.
With so many frequent updates this is now great option for all those who loved the old Pulse News app before LinkedIn ruined it.
The developer is quick to respond to feedback as well and open to suggestions.
Since losing my beloved Pulse on Jan 1, 2016 I've used Flip Book, Newsify, Feedly and about a dozen no name readers. Yes they are polished but none of them offer the effective, intuitive and efficient classic pulse layout of side scrolling feeds. Heartfeed is for those who love to very very quickly devour news and information at a glance.
Give Heartfeed a chance, the developer is on to something here. Heartfeed has the potential to be the new old Pulse!!!! Thanks for all the great updates, please keep them coming!!!!Show lessRM888

I've been looking for a decent pulse replacement for awhile and stumbled on this one in reddit.
It does a fine job at mimicking what I feel is the best way to present RSS feeds.

Pulse was my favorite application of all time, when Linkedin purchased it they completely destroyed the app, behold Heartfeed, my newest favorite app and will hopefully grow into the best newsreader app possible.Nikhil
