I love this app and I’ve used it for years however as I write this on 22 August 2024. I update the app and find that when I go to use my usual sleep sound I met with a pop-up window prompting me to spend $2.99 for a week and up to $88 for a year to pay for premium. This is never happened before. The developers are now forcing you to pay money to play a continuous sound, which was previously free, is now behind the paywall. This is immediately going to make me download a different app and leave this one for good unless they roll back this change.Show lessalexfsayshi

Sorry for the confusion. The upgrade is optional. If you see the paywall and you don't want to pay you can simply dismiss the paywall by pressing the x button on the top right. Excellent Customer Service and Worthy Download
I found this app from a Reddit thread on white noise apps with noises for babies. Boy, what a find! Not only are the sounds easy to navigate, the free version allows 8 hours of a continuous sound.
I decided to make a huge ask for a new sound that wasn’t yet available. Our 6 week old enjoys the clothes dryer as it mimics the sound of the ventilator he was on while in the NICU for the first 4 weeks of his life. It was about 3 days after I sent the email that the new sound was uploaded and able to use! Our son was screaming in the backseat and after turning up that clothes dryer sound, he was quiet within 10 seconds.

Garbage app
This app was good before you had to pay. Now I can only get what they want me to hear. Just another app wanting your money. Garbage app. I don’t want to hear safari sounds.APAZ101

Sound only lasts 8 hours! It’s impossible to get 8hours sleep within an exact 8hour timeframe. I actually need closer to 10hrs in bed to get 8hrs. And I have chronic illness so my sleep is important. And I didn’t realise when I used it for the first time last night and it woke me up at 5am when it turned off and I couldn’t get back to sleep, so this has deprived me of at least an hour or more of sleep that I desperately need.
Edit: thank you to the app developer for your reply. One thing I noticed is that when viewing your app on an iPad (which is what I used), the 8 hour timer is not visible unless you click through to a different view. So perhaps work on getting that clearer to avoid disappointments similar to mine.
Also I won’t be upgrading to a paid version as there are plenty of apps that have the brown noise that I use that are 100% free no matter what length of time.Show lessVictoria19206539

Regarding the timer, it should be visible when you tap on the player at the bottom of the screen or even when your phone is locked, similar to smaller devices.
