  • Love The Pass App!

    Cutting through the noise from others reviews. If you can get past the initial requirement of providing a credit card during sign-up, the app is fantastic. It's incredibly user-friendly, and the rewards system is a game-changer, especially for regulars like me at AVC venues. I'm thrilled with the new status tiers, which make it even more rewarding for frequent customers. Also, the new tax invoice feature is a great addition. Thanks, team!

  • Nope.

    I was browsing my local pub to see what’s on and an ad for this app popped up. It sounded great so I clicked in only to download it and read the reviews whilst I waited for the download. By the amount of people who didn’t receive/were unable to redeem their points for different reasons and nothing has changed since. It’s not a good look. Sounds a bit too hit’n’miss for me. I will delete the app, doesn’t seem worth it. I hope when I check this again in the future great changes have been made to make it more worth it. I have hope 👌🏽😊

  • Still terrible

    Reading reviews from 3 years ago, it’s clear that the app has improved. You get $10 credit for 1000 points and $20 credit for 2000 points. Every dollar spent gives you 10 points, so it works out to $1 back for every $10 you spend, which is pretty good. But you have to redeem the credit as a voucher and apply it to your next order. Why can’t it be automatic and they ask if you’d like to apply your rewards to the next order? After I redeemed a $10 voucher, it disappeared on me, points were deducted and I wasn’t able to apply it to my order. And the bar staff were no more helpful. It’s a stupid system.

    Thanks for your feedback, DefiniteEd. If credit disappears from your account's credit balance, it means that the credit is sitting in a pending order which is waiting to be confirmed. If that order is never confirmed or cancelled, it will automatically time-out after 15 minutes and return to your account's balance.   • Whole sections don’t work

    Not able to change payment methods. Links go to nothing / blank white page. The website has Apple Pay but not the app. Can’t opt to use the far superior website. Yet the website hardcore pushes you to use the app - hot tip, don’t do that unless it actually works properly. Attempting to check out (literally the entire point of this thing) is a nightmare. Should be compensated with an extra drink on successful checkout just to deal with the drama.

  • Bad Design and Idea

    Downloaded the app, went through the loopholes and it doesn’t let you use built in payments on your phone already. They want your card details directly on top of all the other information they don’t need but want so they can sell data.

    It was easier just using the website which seems to have been shut down for everything besides group orders. We opted to bypass the entire process and order from the bar. Much easier, which defeats the entire purpose of this “service”.

  • Terrible app

    Truly one of the lousiest apps I have ever had the displeasure to be forced to use (or at least tried to force me anyway). The signup process is complete glitched so not only doesn’t send every other verification text, but when you close and reopen the app it locks you into a random screen in the middle of the process and denies you moving forward (as the next button is bugged and doesn’t work) but also says you can’t go back! I now try to avoid any establishment that uses this app because it’s clear that those owners must HATE their customers, and the offer of free credit via using the app (that doesn’t work) is probably a violation of Australian Consumer Law.

  • Not entering my cc

    I would like to use this, but the only option is to give them credit card details.
    Asked them last year to add Apple Pay but it never happened.
    With so much fraud, data breaches and such around I’m just not happy with the payment option.

    Thanks for your feedback, Marskros. When you add your payment method to The Pass, it's stored securely in an encrypted state with a third-party payment platform provider. We're still exploring how we can add other payment options including Apple Pay, but at this stage it's still unavailable.
  • Can’t delete credit card details

    They make you add your credit card details which they save. However, you cannot delete them, you also cannot deactivate your account to delete your details. I should be able to delete my personal details (especially something like my credit card)

    Hey Aussiegirl, thanks for your feedback. As The Pass acts as a way of paying for food and drinks while you’re in the venue, we require a payment method attached to your account to be able to process the transactions. However, you can deactivate your account in Settings > Account Management, which also deletes your personally identifiable information.   • Functionally Better than most

    Used it to order drinks in a bar then it popped up again in the next bar. Worth downloading and really user friendly. Free credits help :)

    Love this app! Easy to use, rewards are great, $10 welcome credit was a bonus and it even helps you find your closest venue - thumbs up! 👍🏽
