  • Cool sounds/functionality; a bit niche

I'm a big fan of the other synths from this company (particularly Cassini). This one is solid and well-implemented with AudioBus, IAA, etc. But I did feel that the "bell"-like sounds were a bit same-ish and limited in their usefulness in music making. That may be a bit unfair, since it's basically intended as a niche product, but it's tough for workflow to have a separate app that might do supplementary noises without also being able to handle more traditional bass and lead sounds. For example, I feel like an app such as Thor or FM4 could do a lot of what this app does, plus a lot more. That said, it's affordable, small, and the sounds that are there are very decent. 4 stars.

  • Such a great app...again!

I think this developer has produced some of the best synth apps of the past year. Simple, cheap, humble but bloody effective. A joy to play anything by these genius creators. Big thanks to the dev!
  • Great sounds, weak arpeggiator

This is a nice synth and capable of producing interesting and useful sounds.

I’m taking away a couple stars because I am disappointed that very skillful developers are putting such dumbed down and limited sequencers in their products. There are other meters besides 4/4 and other ways to divide a beat besides 16th notes.

  • Another great unique niche offering from IceWorks

Fantastic sounds right out of the chute with AudioBus and IAA compatibility, all at a reasonable price. This will be extra cool when it is hopefully updated with AudioUnit support. Having multiple instances of this in midiSTEPS and AUM will be fun.
