Beautiful app
Such a stunning app to use and learn from. Typography / colour / the ability to vocalise words for pronunciation… it’s all so good. Subscribed based on the ‘Curse words’ category alone — Pissworm might be my favourite.
Very good but three problems
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS APP because it helps you mr vocabulary get better, right? But there are three problems in this app. Firstly, there are designs of the appearance of the text, yeah? Well most of the animated ones are glitchy and hard to see, even I do pay attention to the words, I also like to see the picture or animated videos. Please please PLEASE try to fix that. Secondly, when you try to practice your skills in the practice area, it takes a VERY LONG TIME just to go into it. Please try to also to fix that. Thirdly, there are a very small amount of achievements in the app and I would like to have more. Thank you for reading this and please try to also fix these three problems.

Awesome app to learn vocabulary.
Vocabulary App
Is one the most fascinating app I have ever seen, allowing you to change the theme and the icon of the app as you like. Not to mention the notifications and the reminders that you can edit them, there is many categories including society, human body, business, etc., enhancing your overall bank of words. In addition, the way you can move from one word to another is amazing as well as listening to them, but I wish could listen to the examples of the words. What I mean is that you can listen to the word’s pronunciation, but not the example beneath it. That is the only thing I do not like; however, overall the app is spectacular and well designed.

OK, I love this app so much and it is way better than any other vocab app I have ever tried. The actual layout of the app is very easy to navigate and beautifully set up. I really appreciate the option to bookmark certain words and the speak out loud function which has helped me learn to pronounce words much better. This app offers so many different words of various topics and reading levels. I feel like I’m learning a new word every day and the words are actually relevant and can be used in daily conversation. This is one of the only apps that I have my notifications on for because I love seeing a new word pop up and clicking on it to be brought to the page easily to learn more. Thank you !!

Enjoying it, but…
This is a great app. However, may I suggest a feature where you can nominate the frequency of amount of new words you are presented with? At the moment I feel overwhelmed with the volume of words i receive. One per day would be ideal for locking into practical memory.

Audio for words and search bar
Hi there,
The app is very useful in daily life, but improvements are possible. The audio for new words in notifications sometimes doesn’t match the actual word. Adding a search bar would also help users look up other words quickly.

I never rate anything, but this...
This is a masterpiece of an app and the creator behind it definitely put the pieces together intentionally. I tend to never rate apps (let be honest, who does?), but I couldn't contain myself this time. It's like a healthy TikTok! You get to scroll and it's addictive and fun but... it's good for you?! It's all you could ask for in a word learning app! The background, the easy to understand definitions, the pronunciation button that actually works for once... I genuinely think it's almost a perfect app.
But why didn't I rate it 5 stars then? Well first of all, most of the good features require upfront payment. Now I personally have nothing against this, the fee isn't that significant (only £30 a year) and of course the app needs to make money to function, it's a business after all, but it's still something worth noting. And the key reason I didn't grant it 5 stars, is to my knowledge, there's not very many functions to actually learn words and ingrain them fully into your vocab. Sure, you get the quiz, but there's so much more potential and room to grow in that aspect: flash cards, AI conversations using the words to talk, some silly word battle game for g*d sake!
Anyways, that's it for my review, thanks for reading. We shall meet again.
