Great app but very weird ‘inspirational’ quotes
I love most of the content, but the intermittent quotes and phrases that pop up sometimes can be just plain odd and I would describe most of them as being philosophical as opposed to uplifting or inspiring. Some are just plain weird. I don’t know who is writing them or where they are getting them from (maybe making them up themselves, or taking them from the teachings or philosophies of various countries or religions?) but regardless of where they are from they are not adding positivity or calm or inspiration to my world.Show lessNorth Star 32
Not for me
Asking way too much for meditation in my opinion. Asked me to imagine walking through a field of flowers and to picture the different kinds and colors of the flowers which were supposed to be in rows. To picture myself in dressier clothing walking in the rows. Picture one particular flower, notice every detail in great detail including a vibrant color. Notice a cushion on the ground in front of the flower and sit down in front of the flower. Stare at it. Then picture a brilliant neon blue and black butterfly flying through the air and eventually landing on the flower and then on my fingertip and then imagine I am the butterfly and I fly away to a cottage. I am then asked to picture every detail of the cottage etc. Goes on and on with different scenarios while some irritating tinkling music is playing in the background. I didn’t care for it. I like guided meditation but not like this extremely detailed type. Made me edgy and not happy.Show lesstwloghtmagic

I wasn’t sure if I would use many of the meditations when I first bought this. But now I realize how useful each of them are. There are so many to choose from. And since they are only a few minutes each, I really don’t have an excuse not to take a few moments to utilize one each morning when I wake up. A very nice and beneficial way to start my day. Reminds me to work on areas of my life that need help. Thanks for the Zen!Show lessQpidkid214

Could be great
I just downloaded this app & subscribed to the premium version but I’m already having issues. When I click on my name at the bottom and try to scroll down it won’t allow me to. The bottom is where I can adjust the notifications and choose to pair with my Health app. I tried turning my iPad sideways but it won’t rotate at all.Show lessannmarie967

I have been using the app nearly everyday until today when something seems to have gone wrong. I can’t access most of the meditations. I tried deleting and reinstalling but still nothing. Is this just a minor glitch. I have a paid subscription. Please help. I miss using the content available.

I’m new to zen but it’s slowly becoming something that is helping me through my days, calming me, guiding me, and being there for me. It’s a really good thing to have around in this tough times you know? An app that cares about you :]itssssky
Not Impressed
The app is laggy and slow and often when I press a button it doesn’t load until I’ve pressed it a few times then it opens multiple times.
Small attention to detail features which could be improved; a lot of spelling mistakes in quotes, the app doesn’t give the option to select multiple goals to filter your suggestions and preferences and it isn’t very personal. The meditation voices are not very relaxing and seem to be made on the spot.
Great concept but needs to be fine tuned to be more user friendly.Show lessmwy123
