Works great

For those who are doing relatively straightforward music. I like that there aren't dozens of options in this music score writer when I only need the basics. A few improvements need to be made however. Flags on 16th notes sometimes point in the wrong way. It's not unreadable, but quaint to see, like in ancient music. And please make the tempo indication removable as it sometimes interferes with the first notes of the piece. Slurs could also be slightly more robust and slightly farther away from the notes, and when groups of notes with stems going in both ways occurs, the slur shouldn't crash through the notes. In spite of these suggestions, I've used this app a lot with great results.

for you people that dont know this, the subscription page has like an x in the corner, not sure if you have it too but check!

cool and free

it was good but you can’t change the time signature so 4 star

Good, but serious limitations.

It’s okay, but has some stupid restrictions. In order to change the tempo, change the key signature, or do anything other than write music, you have to get premium. Like, what? How is that fair? This isn’t pro features we’re talking about here, this is core functionality needed to write music. I find it ridiculous that you have to pay for things that you need to write music. Things that are simple. I would recommend this app to any beginners unless you’ve got a lot of cash. Instead, maybe get an alternative app called, “Notion” it’s much better and doesn’t make you pay for doing things as simple as changing the key signature or tempo. It’s also got a beautiful intuitive interface, and way of writing music.

Wow

I love this 11 stars

Rating so I can change my background colour

I just did the free trial it’s pretty good but missing basic things like grace notes and legatos

Free version is too limiting

You have to pay to change the time or key signatures, or to change the bpm. This app only works if you’re doing c major/a minor songs in 4/4 with 120bpm. It’s also constantly telling you to buy the upgrade, and the interface sucks too. Just use MuseScore on your PC.

For the developer: you could add a feature where users can watch an ad and get premium features for a bit (after that you’d have to watch another ad) so people don’t have to pay but you still get money.

Way to monetised

You can’t press a single button without the $100 pro add coming up with no cancel button, not to mention all the adds. The actual usability might be ok if you could switch clefs and and do other BASIC music composing stuff. I play the viola and you have to pay to use the alto clef which I ridiculous. Don’t use this app, you will be much better off with a manuscript book.
