What happened??
This had been an excellent app. It’s been declining for at least a year. It stopped being able to see the contents of Google drive folders shared with my account. Then it started acting very buggy and unresponsive when trying to adjust individual pages in a score. I ended up buying a whole new IPad, thinking mine was getting too old. Finally solved the Google drive problem by signing in with the file owner’s account, but the page adjustment problem persisted. After the last update, I can’t even connect to Google Drive. The app says it’s not supported!!! And the page adjustment function is still very buggy.
Will it continue to get worse? Have they abandoned Google drive users? I had come to rely on this app every week. Now I’m looking at other options.Show lessWell Worth Everything
I have had this app for the last 10 years and it just keeps getting better. I’m on platform most Sundays and rehearsing throughout the week is made easy by this app. Adding pdfs is effortless and being able to add your own through the photo feature is incredible. I purchased the full version to have all the bells and whistles and it is well worth it. The playlist feature is also incredible. Overall, you must use this app if you are a musician.Show lessMy first and only sheet music app
I’m late to the iPad-for-sheet music party, but I got Piascore instead of ForScore since it was freer. I love it so far. There might be some features that I’m missing out on, but as far as I can tell this has everything I need.
To be constructive, I’ve had some issues accessing specific pages when I add a larger file to a setlist. Ie, I’m playing the trombone part out of a file that contains all 5 parts plus the score to a quintet tune. So one, maybe 2 pages out of 15 or 20, which as far as I can tell all have to into the setlist. I’m sure there’s a way I could manually crop the file in a third-party app, but I’d love if I could do that right here, especially if it means less outside work on my part. To be sure, the direct integration to Google Drive is remarkably helpful, but half the time I’m copying files from an email or shared drive. I’d rather not go fidgeting with those.
Seriously great UI though, highly recommend this app for anyone just getting into digitization.Show less
