It's called Dark Mode
And it's been around for quite a while. I'm visual impaired and I cannot even peek at this bright white app.
Not to mention dark mode looks 1000 times cooler than a glaring white background and saves your phone's battery life. Studies show 90% of users prefer it. Plz join us in the 21st century!
In response to the developer response: to be fair, I emailed you over two years ago to add this basic feature, and you said you would work on it. It is not difficult to implement, but you have sat on your hands and put out many other random updates (mostly useless for me) instead. One star until this is done. Aside from my vision trouble, what rock musician wants a bright light shining on their face from their screen? That’s the lighting crew’s job!

I have been using this app for years for live performance. My band has an over 300 song repertoire, and I'm never without my lyrics and chords. Motion controls allow me to place my phone in a mic stand holder and stomp the leg of the stand when I need to scroll the lyrics. And if some jackhole bumps into my stand while I'm playing, I can stomp to scroll back up.

Thank you so much for your feedback. We are happy that you like our app and we understand that you would like a dark mode and we will probably work on it but it seems that one star is harsh especially that we have a whole team behind who work for it.
