Very Cool app. Instructional tools for traditional ethnic arts are always a challenge, but this one nails it! Full disclosure: I'm an advanced beginner djembefola, but I do read music. Just spent some high-quality high-effectiveness practice time strapped into the drum-throne with the headphones. App is superb for visually and aurally appreciating how the djembe, bell, and dunun parts - the polyrhythms within each named rhythm - articulate with one another. In other words how they "fit" together. Excellent tool! Reminds me of the old "Music Minus One" LPs. FanFreakin' Tastic! But you can't just look and listen.
