Wow this is bad
As stated in previous reviews- the app does not stay connected and will not stay paired for more than one use. What's the point of having an app and advertising it with the product if the app itself does not even work. I'm not saying it doesn't work well-I'm saying it doesn't work Period. Atleast the product works as advertised so hoping the company puts some capital into matching t with a proper app.Tmocc
App is garbage
Apparently the new version failed to correct any of the problems listed in previous version comments. It still drops connection, does not retain the device pairing (you have to re-pair each use), and requires that the button on the box is depressed each time you pair it. What a sad app.Rumlow21
Terrible App
App looks and works like a child made it. Bluetooth is awful. Gunbox SK-1 isn't much better. Buyers regret for sure.Blackjackbimmer
Surprisingly bad
Gunbox is awesome. This app and ability to link is a train wreck. Even when BT on device shows connected you still need to press pair on box to see box in app. Every time! Even when linked up about 50% of the time the link drops and you have to start over.BluestreakNC

You have to physically pair the box with the app every time you open the app. It constantly disconnects. Useless app.Hkey47
Useless app
I don't have kids and my phone is locked regardless so access to the SafeTech isn't a problem from unauthorized people. The app itself is useless though. You have to go through the process of connecting the box every time you want to use your phone. That by that point you might as well use your RFI fobs or finger scanner since you already have to press that button.
The other thing I disliked is while it stays on the list of items "connected" you can click on "show" and it actually shows you the password you set.
Granted, you actually have to be near the box to "connect" again by pressing the button and finding the signal and then input the unprotected password. Unlikely to have both the phone and box if you're robbed of the box.Great Arpus
Serious security flaw; useless until you guys fix this...
Love the gun box! The app though makes it completely insecure. The app has to be deleted to ensure login/password are not active upon opening (it should be promoted each time you open the app). Also, the password enable swipe switch doesn't rock; it just slides open the product menu. Cmon guys; get this fixed ASAP.
