A Positive Experience With a Few Caveats
I would like to start off saying this game is incredibly entertaining and fun. Playing Wordle takes up a lot of my free time, and though I love the experience, there is an inconvenience.
My only complaint is that Wordle has a lot of ads. And maybe too many. I feel like there shouldn’t be an ad with every time you put a word in. Whether I get the word right, wrong, or in between, I always expect an ad yet it still disappoints me. Of course, I get some games will have ads but this game in particular has too many for my liking.
In conclusion, I would rate this game four stars. The game is very enjoyable and I love trying to guess and find out what the word is. The daily Wordles and the challenges are some of my favorite features, though the ads around every corner make me a bit annoyed. I would definitely recommend playing this game, and though the ads are a lot, I could play this again.

Decent game but a few concerns
It's a good game with a nice structure, I appreciate definitions for words being provided and the overall layout, however I'll note the game occasionally freezes while playing. Aside from that the bigger issue is the one thing everyone here is talking about...the damned ads. I get two guesses into the classic Wordle before an ad pops up, granted it is skippable. However this is utterly ridiculous to the extreme in which this game throws ads at you constantly. When I say "two guesses in" I mean EVERY two guesses it gives you an ad, and I'd put up with them for a while throughout the last few months though I feel they've gotten far worse. Ads are available when you want rewards or finish a round but many mobile games offer ads AROUND the main game and don't interfere with the users play. I will not be investing such a steep price for something so insolent as ads backtoback. I quite appreciate Wordle but if these advertisements don't regulate better I may just delete it, this is insane.

This game is pretty good for when your bored and need to make your brain think but …one day as I went back into the game, all my progress reset and I lost everything like I mean EVERYTHING! Game developers, if this is a bug please fix it because now I have to do all my progress again. 😩 Overall though the game is pretty good and totally recommend.

Ads are ridiculous
If you actually want to play the game, plan on paying or just move on. The ads in this game are absolutely ridiculous. Like after essentially every guess or two and then in between every puzzle as well. And everytime you switch apps on your phone it will automatically say “ad may show while we load”. Like no, there is nothing new for you to load, I watched your already ridiculous number of adds just to play your two daily games (at least 4 ads for 2 game played). It is sad how people nowadays let businesses get away with this kind of thing, this is a scam. If you have any value for your time, delete this app and do not reinstall it until the devs have some kind of care for those who want to actually play the game. $8/month for ad free is absolutely ridiculous, scammers. The only responses on ads are statements saying they are trying to balance a free game with ads, yet they clearly couldn’t care less about how much of people’s time they waste. Honestly - everybody should report this app to Apple as a scam, and hopefully they are forced to change or remove it from the App Store.

New ad. policy a change for the worse
In the last few weeks an update has changed the frequency of ads in this game so that every guess is punctuated by an ad! I mean really what bright spark thought that would be a good idea? It’s a sure fire way to lose loyal players. You show little respect for those who’ve downloaded this game by making this change thinking they won’t care or even notice. We are not stupid. It’s a shame to delete this game but I don’t feel like wasting so much time trying to tap out of so many ads. I certainly won’t be clicking on any of them. In fact I’ll just delete it!

The ads are a joke
This game is a good game to play. I would recommend it for anyone wanting to keep their mind sharp. However, the game is completely ruined by ads. It must be the worst game out there for the amount of ads you have to sit through. It totally takes away any enjoyment from the game.
I played the ‘Wordle with friends’ part with my Dad who lives in the UK (I live in Oz) as a way for us to regularly do something together. Unfortunately I’ve ended up deleting the app and stopped playing against my Dad because you have to watch an ad after every guess and between games.
It’s too much. I’m sorry to say it, but don’t download this game. It’s actually not so good for your mental health.

Too many Ads and scams
Uninstalled. There’s way too many ads. Sometimes I get 2 ads while playing one round. I get ad’s when I try to go exit the round and go back to the main menu. There’s even times that I opt out of the free bonus if I agree to an ad and then I immediately still have to watch an ad… it’s very frustrating. I might as well have opted into the bonus and gotten a free retry if this app was going to keep wasting my time and making me watch an ad anyway. And yes, I already know I can PAY to remove ads but that is way too expensive just to play a word game. it’s the same price as a monthly movie/tv streaming subscription. not cool. Just ad after ad after ad. and some of them are links to scams. gift card surveys and device alerts. I accidentally opened one at the bottom of the screen while playing and a link opened in my browser - “Warning, we’ve detected a malware on your phone”. Please lower the ad frequency and vet them to make sure the ads aren’t scams if you want to keep and protect your customers.

Way too many adds
I like the game but there are just too adds. You expect adds between each game but Wordle makes you wait through adds after almost every attempt to solve the puzzle so in one five-line game you have to watch 3-4 adds plus another add before you get a new game panel 👎
Also the adds are timed so you can’t just skip them - some are a minute long!! The other adds all require you to wait for the fast forward button to appear, after you tap that another box pops up for you to download whatever app they advertised. Once you close that then you can close the add and get back to your game

Ads are insane
I’m not normally one to write reviews, but this experience has been so frustrating that it’s compelled me to do so. The game literally forces you to watch an ad after every single guess, and it is beyond aggravating. I understand that a lot of developers need to run ads to generate income on a free game, but having one play every few seconds is greedy.
It disrupts the experience of the game completely and turns what would otherwise be a fun game into an immensely annoying experience. If it weren’t for constantly having garbage clickbait shoved down my throat every 5 seconds, I probably would really enjoy the game, play it a lot, and frankly even pick up the paid version to support the developers. In its current state, however? It’s unplayable. Had it less than 24 hours and it’s being uninstalled because it’s insufferable.
Hope the developers listen to feedback and do something about it.

What happened?
I used to love this app but a change was made and now an ad shows up every single time you enter in an attempt at an answer!! And the ‘How did you do’ part which rates you against the average, hasn’t worked for days. I am hoping the ads popping up after every attempt at an answer is a bug in the system. I’ll try it tomorrow but if that’s how it’s going to be from now on, I’m deleting the app!
