It’s a really good app but

It’s such a good app and I truly do recommend but 1 thing idk if it’s just me but idk how to write more than one piece or idk how to add another piece I really hope I get feedback on how to do this because it’s very confusing but if your someone who just likes to focus on 1 piece of writing anyways I say you should download the app RIGHT NOW

I don’t really have a problem with it I just don’t know how to add another piece but no hate and keep up the good work😁😅
Never mind found out it’sjustfount out you needed to tap the icon on the left side so in other words DOWNLOAD RIGHT NOW

Best-in-Class, Incredibly Responsive Developer

Pieces is a five-star app that hits every bull’s-eye—functionality, aesthetics, and phenomenal developer responsiveness. Full text formatting (no markdown, thank you!), a generous assortment of fonts, extensive user control of the GUI, and a gorgeous design are just some of the many great features. Buy this, and you’ll be glad you did. I am! Thanks, Timothy.

can we turn off titles?

i prefer not to use them and just use the first line of my writing for organization

Beautiful app but please fix this error

After trying every other writing app I could possibly find, I decided on this one because it’s easy to use, simple, and allows you change your font and text size. Upon using the app for a day or two, I decided to pay for the upgraded version which allows you to have unlimited notes. Shortly after buying, however, I noticed a fatal flaw that is preventing me from comfortably using the app. I’m making a review in hopes the developer can repair it.

The glitch I’m experiencing is whenever I open a note, it will occasionally completely erase all the text, and if you type a character in this state, the content of the note will be permanently gone. I’ve been able to catch it a few times and restart the app (before typing a character) and my note will remain, but other times I’ve not been so fortunate. I’ve not been able to find an undo button, but perhaps that would be a good solution until the main problem gets fixed, and a nice permanent addition to the app in general.

Overall, this app would be a great addition to your workflow and I’d gladly change my review to five stars if this were to get fixed because it’s definitely deserving of it otherwise.

Response from developer

Hi Zach, this problem has now been fixed thanks for your help.

Efficient, beautiful design

I have been looking for the perfect minimalist writing app for years, and this is definitely it. Hoping that it will one day be available for Mac since I do most of my writing on my laptop.

Very nice app but with a few problems

This is a cool app with lots of potential, but there’s some problems with the feedback button and as well trying to center the text without the words going off the screen.

nice!

perfectly designed for efficient workflow.
it’s uncluttered.

Great app, one major problem however.

Great app. Been using it almost everyday to journal. One very major problem I have faced though is the iCloud back up. It gives an error message and only saves a few random entries, not all of the entries.

Dev Team, please fix 🙏

Thank you so much.

Hi, thanks for bringing this to my attention. How many pieces do you have and how many are successfully being backed up. Do you get and error message? Please email arcopodev@gmail.com

Excellent

Excellent and beautiful.I Literally download ever not app possible and unfortunately yet fortunately this was the last one I downloaded but it's perfect. Just what I was looking for. Please add ability to sort alphabetically (both within each note and entire lists.) Also ability to bulk edit and delete. Also for folders have an automatic folder for uncategorized notes. And when exiting each folder go back to the main folder menu. 🙏

Thanks so much for your review. Happy writing!

You need to subscribe to write for than two pieces

You have to pay to write more than two pieces.

Except I’m thinking it would be totally worth it, since commas and periods are way to add without having to switch keyboards.

Response from developer

Hi, I made the app so that anyone can download it for free and see if they like it before paying. That’s why there’s a limit of the number of pieces you can write. I hope you’ll agree that’s fair :)
