latest update much worse than previous version. lost all my presets for accu radio and seems very slow to acknowledge commands. please fix and improve!

Functional but would help if can see things in lists, like the different surround modes, cycling through all modes to get back to atmos seems unnecessary and takes too long

Used this for 7 years for my lx-the 301. Worked better than icontrol. I tried this a few weeks ago and it would not work so must have had an update. All in all i’ve been pleased. Hope a new update fixes the problem i have now.
Utter Garbage
Pioneer and Onkyo should be embarrassed by this all but useless remote app. I just upgraded my A/V receiver to the Elite VSX LX505 from my old VSX 1123, and I'm seriously considering returning the new unit just because the new Pioneer remote app is all but useless garbage. They need to learn from the designers of the iControlAV5 app. That app has SO much more functionality and the interface is beautiful compared to the new app's. It's like they designed it as barely an afterthought. Seriously Pioneer, why saddle such a beautiful, capable receiver with such a terrible remote app? You should be humiliated and embarrassed by it.

Pretty Awful
I tried to run through Dirac calibration using this pp and found the desktop version much easier to use. When using this app, the screen times out while I’m repositioning the microphone, forcing me to reinitialize setup for every mic position. Fortunately it does save the measurements, I just have to unplug and re-plug the microphone after each step. What’s worse, the app version appears to default to a flat frequency response instead of the excellent default Dirac curve based on actual research.
Some features of the receiver aren’t exposed in the app at all, such as speaker “size” and crossover settings. I can’t even figure out how to change receiver inputs, which is pretty basic functionality.

Pioneer app
This app is terrible to use not friendly at all you need to scroll and scroll over to get things done far away from iControlAV5 which was a much better app. The app crash you need to delete it and reinstall to make this work again unbelievable what’s going on Pioneer.

i like this app a lot to control my pioneer vsx 832 receiver. occasionally hangs up and gets stuck on airplay requiring a reset of the receiver but in general works very well.
STILL Equalizer is messed up!
So you spend all this time redoing the interface to this app, and one simple, easy fix YOU STILL DONT FIX ! When you set the equalizer every time you shut the app off it puts the equalizer flat??",!! Seriously who is the DUMB PERSON that thinks this is a good idea?

when you adjust the equalizer and you shut the app off when you turn the app back on haven't set the equalizer two the same DAM SETTINGS ! So you don't have to constantly go onto the equalizer and turn it back on How hard is this to FIX !

I don’t know what the plan was for this update but the app is basically useless now. The interface is not intuitive at all. Can’t find how to change the input or volume.
All I have been able to use it for is turning the receiver on and off.
