I dislike the placement of the map. I prefer to click once and have it open. I found the map to be okay and it allows teleporting, but it wasn't as good as some I've seen. The HO scenes were okay, but the items weren't always clearly drawn. The help was very helpful.
Somehow, I just wasn't drawn into this game.

Short with easy puzzles
Compared to other paid games, the amount of play is somewhat short, even with the “bonus”chapter. Worse, the puzzles are extremely easy and require more trial and error than any logic or thinking. The graphics are darkish and muted, which combined with only medium resolution makes them ardor on the eyes.Show lessMindfulOfBugs

I downloaded this free version a month before purchasing. I'd downloaded the second in the series and couldn't remember which I preferred. I mistakenly chose to buy this one. I've played a lot of HO games, but I don't think I've ever had to use the HINT button as much as I did in this one. I felt that the game didn't flow as well as others, and the items given or picked up didn't remind me of the tasks I had to do (if that makes sense.) My second complaint is that there was no mention of a ghost or any supernatural things in the description, however, right after I purchased the game, there he was. I don't like that kind of stuff, so I was very disappointed about that. The graphics are great, and I was able to finish the game, but I'll be deleting it. Really wish I could return it, because I'd buy the other one.Show lesskrispy1121
