  • Nothing but trouble

    Worked as a lead and everything about this job is a lie, from the workers holding hours and trying to fleece you for 20 to book, the drivers are peeing in bottles and having hookers in the vans, no repairs are done to the vans, call center is horrible, they fire you for fraud even tho you follow app rules when they wanna hire people for cheaper pay. They lower the incentives all the time or give none. Crazy amount racism especially toward Spanish drivers, rider always claiming sexual assault and via will cover it up. I can go on this company is trash and will continue to be that way cuz it’s the new 2 dollar

  • Great service, App needs improvement

    The company and service is great and affordable. The app itself needs improvement and not the best coming from a driver. The navigation system is slow and poor, the app overall is slow sometimes and has some bugs and glitches. I believe the team is hard at work fixing them but I have heard these have been problems for a long time.

  • No update for iOS 16

    This hasn’t been updated in 3 LONG MONTHS y’all need to update it for the newest version of iOS so it can run better or the app will continue to crash unexpectedly and also fix the Bluetooth problem where the audio doesn’t get low after the GPS takes over
  • this company Is ridiculous

    I hope not this is the future of public transportation because replacing good paying jobs with low wage independent contractors does not work for me. Via transportation I feel is trying to hijack our public transportation world. If this is the future and they need to do a better job. Train your drivers better have cars with better Bluetooth systems

  • Need upgrade bad

    It’s always saying stop dead in the middle of the road . I am a driver n I can’t understand y it’s our job to put gas in the van n y don’t we get a at least 15 min break with pay after we been driving a long period of time . N y is it hard to get technical support but the riders can reach them first .

    The company only believes all the passenger reports they do not have consideration for the drivers they do not care they just want them to pick up their passengers and the company make more money they do not frequently clean their vehicles are dirty or send them to be washed 👎 every week they take $ 450 dollars from your check

    Absolutely the worst app anybody could ever use. If you’re a company looking to use this app please turn around and run. The company that contracted me to drive for them uses this app and are about to lose their contract because it’s such a horrid app for drivers and passengers. Inaccurate ETA time. Worst mapping ever. Doesn’t even tell you if the destination is on the left or right. Countless calls to IT and yet nothing has changed. Clear the slate and try again VIA!

  • App Needs Polish, but is almost there. Will UPDATE if Issues Resolved!

    1. Make BG Audio and BT Audio sync better, it seems like notifications have a way of taking precedence, and then it turns off BT music playing for customers.
    2. The DRIVER App, could use a lot of front end and backend overhaul — it needs less distracting sounds, and more turn by turn prompts, letting you know which LANE you need to be in within X # of miles.
    3. Routes - Routes can at times be weird, and this may be built in for purposes of avoiding traffic, I’m unsure, but yeah…
    4. Get ViaDRIVERs the same status as a City of Arlington, a City of FW or otherwise bus attendant, so that if these people try to assault us we have legal recourse. Most are great, some are awful and shouldn’t have been allowed access to the app from the jump.
    5. Listen TO YOUR RIDERS AND YOUR DRIVERS! We are giving you clear feedback, idk what is hard to implement. ? Find your sweet spot, app-dev team, and let’s get VIA Driver working a bit better.
    6. Expand Service Area to include up to Bell Station on the TRE line in Arlington area, for access to Bell Helicopter HQ and etc.

    P.S. — in the VIA Rider app, make searching for establishments easier. I don’t know what index of info that’s pulling from, but at times it seems like it’s not up to date.

  • Battery drain while not using

    The app keeps tracking location and background and stays active even when offline and not working. It really runs my battery doen. I have to turn off location and background app refresh to keep the app from doing it. I don't know if anyone else noticed it but it needs fixing.
  • Needs Improvement

    The only time I really see money is when they switch me to Blue Rate, and still I have to be driving for hoursss just to see $100, Flex mode never really works for me. You get a ride then it take 30 min to a hour just for another ride to come in Flex mode, if you worked for Lyft and Uber your definitely not seeing the same amount you would make in a hour or two and lastly. Even getting up extra early before 8am or working late nights will not get you consistent rides.
