Captions are horrid to edit
This app has so much potential but the only real reason I got it was for the captions.
The idea is there but editing captions is horrid. You can’t prefer clips, editing is a nightmare because the video won’t play or able to edit clips at a time.
It just isn’t a very good user experience

Great app, when it works
After loading a video and cropping, adding subtitles, etc. like I’ve done many times before it got stuck processing. No big deal it happens. And then it happened again. And again. And again.
Contact customer service and they essentially go through the “is it plugged in and turned on?” type of troubleshooting. Yes, yes I did that, yep that too. No resolution.
Following week, back to filming a video (let’s try it again) and the same thing happens! Back to customer support, back to the “is it plugged in” troubleshooting. Yep, did that (again). Yes, I uninstalled and reinstalled. No it’s still not working.
So, finally a glimmer of hope when I get a Zoom call scheduled with an expert to help me out. Only one problem, the guy ghosted me. Unfortunately, we getting very close to asking for a refund and trying a different service. Just disappointing.

BigVu is awesome!
The App is simple to use and has some great features (titles, branding and subtitles) that make the videos look incredible.
The main feature that I love is the built in teleprompter. It makes my videos so polished without endless rehearsals, retakes or looking like a robot!
The ability to create specific pages and calls to action for each video makes the final output so professional.
The support and free training that BigVu provide has been a massive help too.
I highly recommend BigVu. It’s been a great purchase.

Literally so frustrating
Everything was going good until I tried to save the video I recorded. Although it said I could put it in drop box and email it it in fact wouldn’t work. That’s an hour of my time gone. I really needed this to work for a school project and now I can’t submit it because It won’t let me download it. Maybe it’s just me and I’m having technical problems but all I know is that it won’t let me save it. Even when I tried to screen record it wouldn’t work. If you don’t want to start a trial for the app I recommend not using this. And seeing how the only review in here is a positive one I’m sure my review will be taken down soon. ):

BigVU is an excellent purchase
Just wanted to leave a quick review on BigVU. I think it is a must buy if you want to do video creation. The teleprompter works flawlessly and when using with an iPhone you get professional videos. I have a lot of people compliment me on my videos and BigVU is the main reason. Highly recommended!

Great video tool
BIGVU is a great product for content creators. It solves the one annoying problem you have when reading from a script, i.e. that is looks like you’re reading from a script.
BIGVU makes creating professional looking videos much easier. The branding options really add a nice touch. And the app works great, too.
Perfect for non-experts, this is the tool you need to up your social media video game. Get it!

App issues
It seems to me it’d be an easy update to allow the script to be in the center of the screen so it doesn’t look like you’re looking slightly off camera, but that isn’t an option with this app.
I also constantly have to restart my phone in order to make the app work properly. I already subscribed so I stick with it and make due but its very annoying.

Customer service is awful
I’ve been using this and paying for this for years, and I’ve loved it. Recently they changed their service so that the words only fill half the screen and when trying to contact customer service, they tell me it’s Apples problem. The earlier version worked better. They told us to go to apple and get a refund. Well, we pay by the year, so we are past the 30 day refund. Seriously? It’s your frickin’ app!

Disappointed Immediately
I was so excited at first to download this app. Then I saw even if I paid such a really overpriced amount to subscribe for only SIX months, the highest thing it unlocks is just under an hour. That is absurd. I would rather use a separate program or device from my phone than be controlled and limited by an app. This is a serious design flaw right off and I have no interest in the hassle. I am into limitless, thanks. I will decide myself how long I want to take to make my own videos and content, goodbye! I deleted it right after I had installed it when I was hit with that little bomb of information.

Good but needs major improvements
Despite upgrading my membership, that bigvu logo would not come off my video and I had to crop it out myself. Also, the video editing performs poorly. I only added music and a logo to an 80-second video and the app just completely struggled to render anything. Great idea in principle but there needs to be a smoother user experience.
