No introduction.
There was no introduction when I downloaded it and I didn’t know what to do. When I found out, it had some songs on the app that would play with you but most of the songs are just with 3 fingers and the other virtual instruments playing in the background actually play the song.
Avoid
This app is garbage. It would even be garbage 10 years ago. If you are thinking about purchasing a keyboard and using this as a learning tool, you may want to spare yourself the disappointment. There is absolutely no instruction involved. It is essentially a stripped down Guitar Hero interface. The oncoming notes are extremely difficult to distinguish from one another. The sound of the song completely drowns out the sound of the keyboard, and there are not separate volume controls. Also, it crashes every time I restart a song after adjusting the settings.

Bad
I don’t like it
Its a nigthmare
It is a great contradiction, how such a versatile instrument produced by Casio should be subjected to a complicated and unfriendly app, it is absurd that those of us who seek to start this musical adventure had to move to other more intuitive and simple apps.
Not working
I can’t seem to import any midi files, whenever i try, nothing shows up in the app.
Great for teaching kids how to play
My son is a 6 year-old piano student who is doing very well, and we stumbled upon an app similar to this, but didn’t know how to use it. Along comes Casio with this app, which for my son is like entering The Matrix of piano study. He loves it, it’s like a game, which means he wants to learn by playing, and that’s half the battle. I could care less if it doesn’t import MIDI files. I don’t need it for that. What I do need it for it does very well, especially with our Casiotone with the light up keys. Awesome.

How to add midi on iOS
The Chordana app seems to have broken in iOS 13 and can not access downloaded MIDI files via mobile safari. What does work is to download the MIDI file on your desktop computer. Open iTunes (yuck, I know) connect your phone (you can turn off sync in preferences if you don't back up your phone to your computer). Now click the mobile icon in the header. On the left under settings is "file sharing" click and a list of apps should appear from your phone. Click "chordana play" and drag and drop midi files here. Works great. Really like the app but needs an update to work with iOS 13.

Casio app
Just doesn’t cooperate. Won’t play the way it’s supposed to no matter which settings are adjusted.
