Great App but...
I use this app daily, or at least I did until Apple made changes and the app crashes all the time now.
Is this app going to be updated with the latest signing certificates so it works again?Lkh100273**!
Like the app, hate the adds
App keeps asking me to review it and popping up adds annoyingly. I like the app so I’m going to pay the $3 and hope everything is perfect without adds. I’ve seen a couple bugs when rating games and seeing them move down on my ascending plays for no reason, like the move to the rating number instead of play number. I really like the app though and hope they continue to optimize it.Show lessevilsacrament
Needed tool for all board gamers
Like apples to oranges, it’s hard to compare a good board game from the myriad of great stuff out there. Having this in my pocket at game auctions, quickly browsing sales, or otherwise seeing the newest hottest games has found me so many great treasures and experiences. Thanks BGG!Greatangus
The developer added ads which can't be closed
So with the latest update the ads which can't be closed were added. Now, if you get that ad and don't want to click on it, you have to close the app and start all over again.
I can understand the desire to add ads to a free app, but those should not prevent you from using the app completely.Dimon1984
Frustrating ads
I have no problem with ads that work but lately I’ve been getting ads on this app that are impossible to close and they popup after putting in a bunch of game log information and the only solution is to crash the app and reenter. I just had to enter the same information 3 times because of the ads.
They should change where the ads inject to not provide such things from being possible. I’ve also had issues in the past with the ads crashing the app at the same point causing me to reenter information.Show lessodditie
Ad spam have disabled the app
Every time I tap on a game I’d like to view a full screen ad pops up with a tiny “x” in the upper corner. Problem is that you can’t tap that “x” with my iPhone XR and there’s no way of getting rid of the ad spam. I have to close out of the app completely and the same cycle continues rendering the app useless.Show lessKeakins14
Unusable when ads pop up
Ads pop up and the close icon is in the upper right hand corner. When you go to close them on an iPhone X it thinks you’re dragging open the pull down menu. The only option is to close the application. Ads show up after looking at 2 -3 games. A would be useful tool ruined by greedy marketers.Flrblblrbl
Not planning on using the app
It looks good for some things, but trying to add my players, it loses the data, and I need to search for them each time (It shows my non BFF players to select, but not the ones who have accounts). Will go back to adding plays on the websiteInnae123
Can not enlarge forums
Really love the access to BGG info on my mobile. Ads are annoying. Trying to zoom or enlarge text from forums does not work. Very difficult to read from my mobile device without magnifying glasses.Gardyloo72
Good app for quickly cataloguing your board games
Only issue I have with this app is you can’t write forum posts on it. Other than that it’s a great way of quickly logging plays with your friends so you can keep logs of who won games and you can write reviews of games which I quite enjoy doing.benjamin stipanov
