It’s the most frequently used app on my phone

As a monthly member I listen A LOT, but I live where reception isn’t always great. This solved my problem and has the convenience of being able to take KUT with me when I get out of my car running errands or go on a walk. I like the way it is designed and its ease of use. Two thumbs way up.

Love KUT

I like having a short cut to stream KUT. Listening to KUT keeps me up on national and local news, great programming and interviews, too. Keeps me company on morning hikes and gets my day started off right.

Works Perfect For Me On My iPhone XR

Great station. Great listening experience ✌️

My NPR fix on the go

Recently moved to Austin. Had to load this app on my phone immediately to maintain my NPR fix. Not disappointed.

Great station

Good app convenient way to get a good news station.

You are the worst Burr

This app has got to go back and get reworked. There’s a bug between AirPods and live streaming though the app. The constant ad playing for the safe workplace company et al makes KUT feel like any other pre-recorded FM station on a commercial format. The app loses its place regularly throughout playback so you get those 30 sec replays constantly. Suggestions I don’t have- I’m using npr1 and the old npr app that has a lot less ads or the website directly but it still seems dumb that KUT’s app is so bad

Two Star App for a Five Star Station

KUT Radio deserves better! I listen to a number of regional public radio stations, many by using that station’s app. Most all function properly. Many appear on screen much like the KUT app. My major complaint is that the KUT feed occasionally just instantly switches back ten seconds to a minute or more and continues playing. That’s rather annoying. Although more annoying but less common is for the app to stop and pause the device. My intervention is then required to restart the app. Listening to the opening promos repeatedly does get boring. I understand the need to promote programs as well as to recognize those who provide resources to make KUT possible. I have NO problem with the opening material. Just seems maybe once per listening session would be enough. Of course, a sorry app in no way keeps KUT from being among the best of public radio stations I listen to. Sustaining member 15+ years

Almost perfect

I wish I didn’t have to listen to that same boot up as every time it crashed…

Stops working

I love being able to get KUT on my phone. Use this app every day. Sometimes it gets in the rut when the last sentence or 2 you just heard repeats. Also sometimes it just stops working and I have to turn it off.

This old app needs updating…

I used this app for years with no problems at all on an iPhone 6. On my updated phone - an iPhone 13 mini, it is impossible to use. The home page is sized incorrectly for the screen, so that the on/off icon is almost completely blocked, “below” the bottom of the physical screen. When I *can manage to turn the app on, there is no volume. Perhaps there is another adjustment I am unable to see? Regardless - please update the app! If I cannot listen to the news, the rest of the articles are meaningless to me.
Am deleting for the time being.
