Dependable excellence
As a native Texan who is saddened and worried by the continuing right-wing drift of the state’s (and the region’s) elected leadership, I am particularly grateful that there is a reliable source of news available to us. Though we now live in coastal Georgia, it is to KUT we continue to turn with gratitude. Thank you, KUT, for dependable excellence in radio journalism.

I just downloaded this app to keep track of Covid-19 in Austin and Travis County. So far it is fine, but I will come back with a more comprehensive review after I have become more familiar with it.

The app isn’t perfect for me. Sometimes after pausing it will jump around a few minutes into playing again. Probably something to do with the buffering. That said I like being able to pause my “live radio” and don’t just wish my phone had an FM tuner onboard. This will do. Love my local NPR station. Welcome any future improvements to the app.

Great radio, not so reliable app
I love KUT and have been a sustaining member for years. My only issue with the app is the app itself. It randomly pauses or stops all together. It will also often stop and then restart a few minutes prior. It’s just a little unreliable.
Timely notifications and great coverage
I like the way the app notifies me of upcoming events, such as the governor’s or the mayor’s press conferences. The reporting is in-depth and balanced. The links to NPR and the TX Standard are easily accessible. Great app.

I’m so glad that I can get KUT on the go with this app!! I can’t get radio on my phone, but with this app I can listen to my favorite station anywhere and anytime. Thanks KUT!!
Great Balance Between Content and Technology
The app works well, haven’t had any issues but I read more than stream. Love that push notifications are neither overdone nor super hyped. Well done!
