My knowledge of technology is limited. All I can say is that this app provides for me the information and access to everything I need. Of course as technology advances, it’s Hard for me to tell what’s available thus factoring what I am able to need!
Solid and reliable
I just moved to Austin and thought I would check out the KUT app. I read the bad reviews and stuck with straight steaming.
Then I heard the station talk about the new and improved app which was redesigned and decided I would give it a try.
Glad I did. The app is great. Solid and easy to use. I like it a lot. Now it’s the best way to stream NPR content.

Versatile New Updates
I use this app as often as possible every day! The new updates offer articles and visuals on each program story.
Love the New App
Looking at other reviews, I can agree that from time to time, I too have had issues with it stopping. But think it is my WiFi service. What I do know for certain is that I count on KUT for great news and information. This new app provides me terrific immediate links to what I may have missed, whether KUT, Texas Standard, or NPR. ❤️❤️❤️

Super Update
KUT finally updated their app so that you can see stories from their webpage. Along with pictures, shows, podcasts and more.
Frustrated
It is impossible for me to use this app. Maybe it has something to do with installing ‘Screen Time’ on my iPhone? I really like listening to KUT and sometimes I can’t use my radio. The app works for less than a minute and then stops. Please work out the kinks so I can get my fix. I support KUT and want to be able to listen on my phone.

Cannot close app
The advertisements cover the entire screen without a way to pause or close. If I touch the screen anywhere, I’m taken to the advertisers web site rather than being able to pause/close.

App has stopped working at night
This app worked fine for me for years, but in the last few months the app has stopped working at night. Can you please advise as to why this is?

Got the app in July 2018. It has none of the problems described in other reviews. I guess they fixed it.
Used to cut out, now doesn't work at all
I can always count on this app to stop working, then I close the app and restart it. How long the streaming goes on afterwards is a crap shoot. On some occasions, it doesn't work at all, like right now. I have a strong phone signal so I turn the wifi off on my phone, and the app still does not work. It bothers me that I can't just use the radio. The radio signal just went away a couple years ago . I guess is could try a kera app.
