10% off is nice but app painful

Many issues with this app…it is very slow. Allows you to search for items but then won’t let you click them. The only way you can view a product is if you search and select it from the auto generated drop down box meaning you have to be very precise with what you’re searching for. Many occasions it won’t let you delete the auto generated 1 in quantity. Also can’t checkout as the green box just turns white.

Wickes is a good place to buy diy products from. Some products are good value, others expensive but you get everything in one place rather than co-ordinating multiple deliveries for a project. This app needs an overhaul.

Needs improvement

Can’t click on items to retrieve information on relevant information, just a picture and price and if needing different items of different specifications it becomes tiresome, can’t even contact support, will try a delete and reinstall the app

I had to uninstall the app and reinstall it and this way it is working

So, in essence this app is the website version of the main website It is handy to have the TradePro barcode on a separate button but that’s all The search function is good Where it needs improving is that this app needs to OPEN to start of It needs to keep you logged in even after an update Once logged in, it needs to remember the customer number, in order to enter the competitions when available Currently (November 2023) it is no opening up so, I am using StoCard app to have the barcode to hand.

Apple Wallet - Missing a trick!

Could be a great app if it allowed you to add the card to the Apple Wallet like most other loyalty cards. Instead you have the embarrassing wait at the till. If the network is slow, which it often is inside my local store it’s even more of a delay. Please can we have the card added to Apple Wallet?

Can it get any worse

This is the only app on my phone where I find it easier to log onto a desktop and use that instead.

Payments have always been a pain, app can’t remember any card details nor use the info stored on my phone?

Latest update (July-23) is making the app unusable. So Wickes, you’ve made a poor app worse, that quite an accolade…

Never works!

Standing at till for ages with a queue. Whine as the app constantly spins saying ‘trying to restore session’ - and the widget doesn’t work unless logged in. Guy on till says ‘ it is constantly like this’ whilst everyone is getting impatient behind. Had to give up with discount in end. Left the stuff and went to Toolstation… Give me a barcode added to my wallet like every other company does!!

Great

Not had any issues with the app. Automatically applies discount to your basket and the added feature of the widget with your barcode is most handy.

Rubbish

Keeps logging out and hard to find anything total waste of time so use competitors more and more as it’s easier to order and get delivery slots that are upto date. Gets frustrating when it says things are out of stock when you are looking at the stock in the store at that moment so obviously not live updated.

Unnecessarily complex

This app is essentially a barcode that you show at the till. I don’t use it for anything else.

What’s irritating is that over time it’s became quite bloated with offers and other rubbish and the most annoying thing is that it logs me out without warning.

As I don’t use the app for anything but the TradePro barcode. I have no idea it’s logged me out until I go to use it at the till and then I discover it’s logged out and the barcode is not available until it’s logged back in.

This makes it unnecessarily complicated at the till and means faffing about trying to log in.
It’s totally unnecessary to have security levels like this for a barcode.

Stop the app logging me out. It’s really irritating.

Terrible tech at Wickes

It’s impossible to get any information on my order, the tech systems at Wickes always seem to be down. Seems too difficult to run a basic order lookup system for their internal staff. The app displays my order as Complete, when I haven't event received my order from over 3 months ago.
