Boost no longer useful

I’ve had this for many years and recently the ‘updated’ the controls so you have to turn on manually before using the boost which also means after the time expires on the boost it then goes back to the manual temp and stays on. Really a bad idea when you’re trying to warm up a room and not skyrocket your bills

Sometimes the app works

This App is hit and miss, it takes a lot of patience to get it to work and then as you leave app to do something else when you come back in it forgets the heater and spends just say connecting.
You have to turn off mobile and then re start it to get the app to work.

Auto does not work

I have had my heater for quite while and used this app for years. Was great. Worked well and easy to use. Recommended it to friends and family but then a few years ago there was a update and nothing but issues. My main issue is the auto (timer) function. As soon as I try and select the time to amend it the app crashes and I mean EVERYTIME!! A few updates since and still crashes!!! The only thing that worked on this app that I used was the boost I could put it on for half an hour and it would turn off after that time. Now it goes into eco! What are you guys doing!!!!

Useful app but temperamental

When I bought the heater in Dec 22, the app seemed to work really well and I usually use it to put a boost on for 30mins or an hour. Recently, the app has stopped allowing me to change the boost time length. The time buttons just do nothing. It also no longer reverts to the previous setting after a boost. If it was on a weekly timer, it should surely go back to this after a ‘30 min boost’? Now it just seemed to turn off after the boost. Seems like obvious stuff to fix but don’t understand why there’s such a delay when so many people are complaining about the same issues. Paid a lot for this radiator, and one of the main incentives was the Bluetooth control. Please fix and I’ll add some stars!

Fix the boost

Been waiting over a year for an update to fix the boost. It finally “came”, and all you’ve done is put a warning in to say boost will switch to manual afterwards. What’s the point? Boost should switch to last setting used, which for the majority of reviewers seems to be the timer…

It used to work fine 3 or 4 years ago. I don’t understand why it’s so difficult now.

Dimplex Futurad FUTM3BT worked fine with app.

Bought a Dimplex Futurad FUTM3BT for timer and bluetooth option. Would be better with wifi as could control from anywhere in house, but with bluetooth you have to be right by it.
App works fine with this product, was able to program the heater quite easily. Using iPhone 12 pro. I’d only give 4* because of the range of bluetooth.

DANGEROUS!

With the manual temp set to 5 degrees. When boosting to a higher temp for a set duration the heater should revert to 5 degrees when finished. Or if the heater was off it should turn off again. It doesn’t. It switches to manual and remains at the higher temperature. Not only wasting energy but it’s a potential fire hazard as the user may unwittingly leave it unattended. This is new behaviour and needs resolving. It’s the Dimplex 403BTB_BK Edited to add recent update has still not fixed this issue and no further contact from the manufacturer.

Another month. Still no fix. Cannot use the app for boosting without setting a reminder to turn the thing off. Come on Dimplex. It used to work perfectly. You messed it up, just pay a dev to work out what you did wrong.

Doesn’t work - constant bugs - no support

Bought for the Bluetooth function, it’s useless. it’s connected to the heater and the current issue is setting timers shuts the app down so you can’t. Historical issues, have been happening since I got the heater two years ago. Few updates or bug fixes and I even contacted customer support who acknowledged my email then haven’t responded. I’m guessing they know it’s utter crap and have nothing to say. I feel this is mis-selling offering a Bluetooth product and paying a premium for the luxury, but not delivering what’s advertised.

Still broken

Complained to customer services a year ago about the app, said fixes were coming, but even with updates it’s still broken.

Bought the heater for the Bluetooth use. Doesn’t even work properly. Sometimes I can turn it on via the app but if I try to change any settings etc it crashes and restarts. Pointless.

Just ok

It’s an ok app. Crashes regularly which can be frustrating. Right now I can’t edit my auto timers.
