Please keep updating. I just downloaded this app as I am knew to vegan food and need help finding vegan items. I downloaded, and scanned just a couple of items I had around, and none of them were recognized. I also can’t enter them myself and label it vegan or not, because I don’t know vegan ingredients and such yet. Pathetic
$20 a year for an app that only has three recipes? And can’t identify a single food product out of the thirty (30!!!) I tested? Not to mention that my initial purchase went through, but did not provide access to the app? I had to buy it twice! I am a Chef, certified nutritional consultant, and health coach. I would NEVER advise my clients to use this. One of its pages even states that vegans should be eating fish for omega-3 support?!? This app is supposed to provide nutritional support for VEGANS. Bait and steal
Wish it were a zero.
The app said that you could try it for a free trial but it billed my account $20 for the next year. Unscrupulous. Furthermore,It is merely peoples opinion as to whether a product is vegan or not. A third of the items I scanned I had to form my own opinion and they’re using that in their database now for other people to gauge whether or not the product is valid. What’s to prevent the owners of the products from going in and liking all of their things as vegan and giving skewed results.

Downloaded this app and when I opened it, it offered a two month free trial. Didn’t want one so I tried tapping out of it but the confirmation for the trial with the fingerprint kept popping up so I decided to exit. Pressed the home button but didn’t know the confirmation would pop up and accidentally subscribed. But the funny thing is, I didn’t even get a free trial. It charged me right away for around 20 dollars. Requested a refund right away with apple, obviously. But when I went to at least check out the app, it sucked anyways. Unusable.Show lessFabturtlecat
Do not get this app!
I got this app to see if foods are vegan, naturally. It said get two months free, so I continued, and it charged me $20. No trial. And the app doesn’t even do what I want it to do, it just tells me how many people think a good is vegan... not if it actually is.
Then there’s a lovely vegan recipe section that has the same two recipes over and over again...

Why change it?
So now you can only do one single scan an hour. Last month I could do multiple scans with ads in between which worked great...I’m sure most people (especially people starting out vegan) will want to use it more than once an hour especially if you’re at the grocery store. Automatically charged me for year subscription
I clicked continue on the free trial screen that came up as soon as I opened the app and it automatically took out $60 from my account (for an app that I would truly never pay that much for, I could just use google). I really want a refund and there’s no support/contact center at all!!! the app seems cheap and not up do date, really want my money back.Show lesshjbowers
Common items missing
I really want to support the community, and an app like this is useful. But as a decades-long vegan I was disappointed that 15 items in my pantry came back asking me to say are they vegan or not. All common items, all vegan, mostly from Trader Joe’s.

Not what I expected!
I just spent $20 on a yearly subscription for an app that doesn’t do everything it’s advertising and now I want my money back! This is a rip off and I do disappointed that I wasted my time and money on this. This is not going to be beneficial to anyone try to translation to Vegan. There are literally 2 recipes on here and they repeat like 3 times and the link on the first page doesn’t even have work. There’s no contact support to get help either so I’m writing this review in hopes of getting my $20/yr back. I will NOT be renewing this subscription next year.Show lessNeah0030
