Doesn’t work, charged for free trial
I tried scanning a few things and nothing happened. Then I realised that I’d been instantly charged for what was described as a “free trial”. I complained to Apple and they’ve quickly dealt with it and approved a refund, now I’m just waiting for the money to be returned to me. Annoying to have to waste my time with it, scam app should be removed from the store.

Immediately tricked into paying $20
When you open the app it misleads you to think you’re getting a free trial, then charges you $20 to use it before you even realize what’s happening. That alone is extremely shady, but if the app actually worked I might have considered it money well spent, just to make shopping easier. I tested it by scanning some Chao vegan cheese that I already had, and it never loaded! Already seeking a refund.

I fell for the scam, don’t download!
No items actually load and there is no recipes, they say there is a 2 month trail and trick you and charge you right away.
Warning
This app when first opens offers 2 months free subscription so when you click continue for the free trial it then pops up to say my purchase was successful 😡. This is false advertising and no mention of the free trial but that I have now spent $30 on the app without my approval. There is no option to dispute this. I want my money returned and will make sure others never sign up.

Great idea but does not deliver
I’m a beginner on the whole food plant based diet and hate the time it takes to read the ingredients of everything I pick up. Was thrilled to see there was an app for exactly this! Downloaded the app while in the grocery store and promptly tried to put it to use. App said there was a free 2 week trial. Cool!!
But...
None of the barcodes I scanned would even load. Got home, none of the barcodes I scanned would load either.
As a bonus, they charged me $20 for this piece of trash app even though they said it was a free 2 week trial.

Does offer tips but there isn’t actually a free trial and I couldn’t find a restore purchases button
This app definitely scans things like it’s supposed to and it has helped me identify some vegan stuff when I needed help, as well as given helpful advice for new vegans, but somewhere along the line I found out I needed to back up my phone or possibly restore it and when I re-downloaded the app on my iPod to test to make sure I could restore The purchase of my subscription instead of having to pay for a new subscription altogether at the same time I am paying for an existing subscription, I didn’t see one. Also, there was no two month free trial. It charged my account immediately. I looked for some kind of support/customer service team to notify about this and couldn’t find anything. This is making me second guess my decision to subscribe to this app.

This app is garbage
It just sits on the loading screen and never advances from that after scanning the simplest of items. Like come on! If I’m paying for this, then it need to have a much larger database and MUCH faster processing. And not have the customer have to do the WORK of manually putting stuff in to your database for you! Especially considering we’re paying for it. We don’t work for this app or it’s developer so why should we have to do the apps job for it??? Makes no sense.

Doesn't work! No free trial!
I downloaded this to try out the scanner feature. After opening the app, it offered me a 2 month free trial and then a paid subscription after that. So I did it to try it out but it charged my account right away for the year subscription, so I did not get to try it out first. Then, the scanner DOESN'T WORK! Every time I scan an item it either crashes or says "Looking for your product..." and apparently never finds it because the screen never changes after that. Very disappointed and I would like my money back but the develop says subscription are non-refundable!

Free Trial? Apparently not
Wanted to do the free trial but my apple pay was charged for $20. I did NOT want to pay for the app at all, I wanted the two month free trial it was offering on the screen. No way to contact support through the app and it didn’t even give me information on the one thing i did scan with it. GIVE ME A REFUND, I don’t want this stupid app.
