Needs work

Love the idea but A, it needs a pause button, when you’re out of the vehicle or rv the temp Ross and you get bombarded with alerts, right now the only option is to move the device. B there needs to be the ability to real time refresh, we’re paying a steep monthly fee, if I’m away and want to refresh every five minutes and monitor the temp real time I think we should have the option because otherwise we only get notified once and hour or once the temp has already reached the threshold which may not give us much time to rectify whatever is causing the temp changes.

Functional but annoying

The device does what it claims but be prepared to be bombarded with marketing notifications. If you’re able to find setting in the app to disable marketing notifications (it’s buried) it won’t help. You’ll still get them. If customer service says they’ll disable marketing notifications for you on the backend, it won’t help. You’ll still get them. If you block the notifications on your phone, then the app is not functional and they’ll send you WhatsApp or text marketing anyhow.

Other than that, I wish there was a way to turn the device notifications on/off with one click so you don’t get alerted of your pet isn’t in the car. Currently you have to go into app settings and turn notifications off/on individually each time.

No off switch

It’s great in principle, but not useful for traveling because you can’t turn it off. The battery lasts only about three days. It’s a very poor design choice because you don’t need it 95% of the time, but you can’t power it off to save battery.

Also the subscriptions are quite expensive considering it is only a remote thermometer. No option to use it one month (as most trips fit into a month); they force you to buy a longer subscription that you may not need. Look forward to more competition in this space.

Unreliable

I purchased the unit for my fifth wheel. It worked well for about a month. When it failed, I contacted Waggle. The called me and had me do multiple resets, which I had already done. Then the person informed me he would have it looked at by the technicians on Monday. I was contacted Monday indicating they had performed a software update. It then was working fine. A week later it failed again. I contacted them again on Saturday. I informed them I wanted to return it, as it is less than two months old and has failed twice. I received a call on Monday and was told I had to return it within 21 days, and that had passed, so I can’t get a refund. They want to perform another software upgrade. They just did one a little over a week ago. Not happy at all, since the whole point is to be able to leave and know your pet is being monitored by this. I would not purchase this item again.

Device does not last

I had high hopes for this product and used it for 1 year. Then the device stopped working and is complete junk (after minimal use). I tried contacting the company with no response. Further the support line only allows support emails if you email through the apple email app (vs providing an actual email address to contact). They have no support. Their business model is clearly based on you buying a new device every year plus very expensive mobile service subscription. I would pay anything to keep my dogs protected but not at the cost of allowing this company to take advantage of me or my love for my dogs.

Poor Customer Service

Overall good product, still dependent on network coverage though, so not fully confident when leaving dogs in RV on really hot days. Dissatisfied in Customer Service though! When I bought the product was supposed to get a FREE camera. After receiving product with no camera received a call that camera was being sent from China and would take a few weeks. We are full time RVers, so it didn’t arrive until long after we left. Waggles answer was for ME to contact USPS and arrange for forwarding! Not easy on package shipped from China, but I tried. Now appears to e in KY and zero info on USPS website? Wouldn’t you have made YOUR customer (me) happier if you sent a replacement to me? Now I’m writing a bad review of your business!

great system

i bought this system about 6 weeks ago. easy to install, customer service is very good, until i bought this system was always worried of a power failure in my rv. so really was never able to leave my pet for long. now im comfortable leaving my dog inside. the system alerts you almost instantly when power is out and will alert me when heat reaches certain temperature that you set. gives you humidity alerts also. i have been traveling for the last month and had no issues. ive been in remote areas and still receiving my alerts. i think one of the best thing is that it uses verizon wireless. i dont have a verizon cell service on my phone and it still works with my t mobile phone. great product. does exactly what it say it will do

Won’t connect

UPDATE : my device is working properly now and I’m very happy with it. Tech support worked through the issues with me. Thanks for the help. It’s a bit interesting that it’s taken months for the developers to respond to my needs for help.

So far I have had this device service for over a month. I have had 3 online conversations and two live conversations where they convince me that within 24 hours my unit will work. Still not working and very disappointed. This was not inexpensive and my pet is not protected.

RV life with dogs

We have had our pet monitor since 2018, and have used it daily as our dogs are with us most of the time. We rely on it being accurate to keep our pet family safe. Now five years later, the monitor has lost connectivity. After sending a brief email to the support team at Waggle late at night, the next day (Saturday) we received not just an email, but also a direct phone call to follow up with our issue. Although we could not get the monitor to work properly again, the Waggle representative, Sam, was more than helpful and got us a new updated device with a 55% off the regular price. We would, and have, recommended it to every pet owner we know.

Awesome respones

I just purchased the lite monitor, Sam ( from waggle) called me after I sent in an email within 30minutes. Got the device for 1/2 the price, and 20$ off the subscription. I received the monitor about 30 minutes ago and Sam called me and walked me thru the regristration and warranty info. I pray this helps keep my dog safe plus gives my wife and I a piece of mind being in a rv that if power goes out will be notified. I’ve seen some reviews that were negative, but I haven’t seen that at all. If you need help ask for sam, he took care of us
