Description of ROAD iD

With Real Time Location Sharing and Accident Sensing, your loved ones are with you - every step of the way. It's perfect for runners, cyclists, hikers, walkers, skiers - basically anyone not glued to the couch. REAL TIME LOCATION SHARING A brainlessly simple way to let your loved ones follow you on your adventures. The ROAD iD App sends eCrumbs (electronic breadcrumbs) to your selected loved ones (Guardians). eCrumbs can be sent via Email or SMS and give your Guardians the ability to see where you are, how far you’ve gone, and the route you’ve traveled. Guardians do NOT need to install the App to see your location. ACCIDENT SENSING Our patented Stationary Alert technology provides loved ones with your wipeout whereabouts. When activated, the ROAD iD App will trigger a Stationary Alert when it senses that you have been stationary for too long. You are given 30 seconds to dismiss the Stationary Alert before the App notifies your pre-selected loved ones (Guardians). Stationary Alerts can be sent via Email or SMS. Guardians do NOT need the App to receive Stationary Alerts. ONE-TOUCH SOS Instantly notify loved ones that you need help and call First Responders if needed. When using the App, simply press the SOS button and we'll notify your loved ones (Guardians) that you're in distress. Pressing this button will also give you a shortcut to call Emergency Services (ex. 911). This emergency screen will show your current Latitude and Longitude so you can tell First Responders exactly where you are. ACTIVITY HISTORY We'll even keep a complete log of your adventures, including maps and key stats. REAL-TIME STATS Speed, Distance, and Location during your eCrumb Activity. OUR CORE PURPOSE Like all ROAD iD products, this App is designed to Save Lives, Deliver Peace of Mind, and Fuel Adventure. LEGENDARY CUSTOMER SERVICE Need help? We've got your back. We're real people (no robots) and are eager to help. - AppFeedback@roadid.com - 800-345-3665 (Mon-Fri / 9am-5pm ET) - https://www.roadid.com/pages/contact-us SUBSCRIPTION INFO - FREE 2 Week Trial. - After trial, $2.99/month or $29.99/year. - You can easily cancel (or temporarily cancel) anytime by going to the "Settings" section inside the app. - This small fee enables us to continue investing in the App - to make it amazing, super reliable, and really valuable for you and your Guardians. PERMISSIONS To work appropriately the ROAD iD App will need the following permissions on your device: - Current Location: So we can share you location with your Guardians - Notifications: So we can alert you before we send a Stationary Alert to your Guardians. - Disable Battery Optimizations: So we can share your location with your Guardians when your screen is locked. - Contacts (optional): This makes it easier to add/select Guardians from your phone's contacts. Reviews of ROAD iD

  • Great for tracking and safety

My husband and I use this app when we ride. Our “guardians” can track us and if there’s a problem, they know right where we are. There’s a stationary alert feature that adds safety- we don’t use it now, but it did help one “guardian” know we had stopped and he called to make sure we were safe It’s also great for keeping track of miles ridden over a period of time along with speeds so we can compare our rides and see if we are getting better
  • Essential safety equipment

I run trails, which means there are several risks: - Unfriendly rocks. Trip twist fall. - Bobcat - Coyote I’m a transgender feminine person which means humans can be at risk as well, although I’ve never seen it personally. I use this app to keep my wife informed of where I am. It gives her the confidence that if something happens she’ll know and can act. It also helps prevent my overconfidence won’t get me into serious trouble, hopefully. I have the app set up to notify her phone and my phone at start and finish. That way, I know when it’s texting and what is texting.
