  • Best Pokémon IV app! New raid feature is amazing!!

This new raid feature is so cool! It is so easy and I can raid every 5 mins! It is annoying though when the host “sends you an invite” and you don’t get one, then you have to wait in queue again - totally wasting your time. But the app with the IVs and raids is totally worth getting. ———— on an unrelated note, can you please make it so you can lock the lobby on Genesect or kartana? I can contribute over 70% damage and I am stuck here waiting for people to join my open lobby. Thanks! Also, for those of you that are angry about celesteela, remember a lot of major places have kartana and it’s all about supply and demand! Edit: you can also use this app to find 100% CPs when you are powering up so if someone calls out an 100% you can always double check the cp! I 115% recommend the app, I’m actually really surprised that nearly all the features are free!!

  • This is literally the best thing that happened to me!!

I can’t believe all this time I’ve lived without this app how much it changed for me. I was always a Pokémon Go fan since 2016 but always wondered how can people get legendary Pokémon in a second without brining on a whole group in person. This app changes everything and makes it so much easier for Pokémon Go trainers. Not just the fact it sets you up with people for raids making it 100 times easier but it even shows so much more information about specific Pokémon and buddy distance and even the best thing is you can check a Pokémon review and see how to get the Pokémon the BEST moves with a very accurate ratting!!! Another thing that I absolutely die for about this app is that the fact that when you friend people you can be able to get gifts from ALL OVEER THE WORLD! Meaning you can get all the Vilvioln’s from all over the world! I seriously love this app and I’m so thankful to all the developers of this app because this is a huge life changing situation for me with Pokémon go so thank you so much!!!

  • Att:Trainers

Honestly such a great app! But trainers really need to consider uploading their PROPER trainer names. Otherwise it’s such a muck around trying to find who hasn’t been invited and then people don’t receive invites and then raids are lost. Other then that amazing app!
  • Great for finding mons worth the stardust for PVP

I am one of the few who has been playing PokémonGo since release in 2016. I was under the impression that unlike the main series games, all the Pokemon in Go didn’t have stat IVs. I learned I was mistaken from some trainers I met after raids were introduced and started using PokeGenie after.

I stopped using it when the appraisal feature was added in game, but started to notice a few things when building pvp teams: higher IVs needed more stardust to power up, my higher IVs sometimes performed more poorly, and shadow/purified mons serve more damage regardless of IVs. So after doing some research, I discovered some low IV mons have excellent pvp stats and vise versa. So, back to ole faithful it was.

I especially find the app useful for the special cups that accompany some events, like weather or electric cups. I only shudder to think of all the shadow mons I transferred for poor IV stats before I started using Genie again. SS’ing each individual mon can be tedious, especially when your storage is full and you’re out catching. No more quick 0*, 1*, 2* search for mass transfer for me. But I win more battles, so I’d call it a win

  • Awesome app

It has everything you need even on the free version
  • Great app, BUT

It is really annoying that you can only change your name once a month. I changed my trainer name, and then when I changed it in the app, I misspelled it. Now I can’t fix it for a month, which means I will likely be reported for my name not matching.
You used to be able to change your name as often as you wanted. I would be willing to pay a one time fee to go back to that version. Since they changed to the “once a month” name change, I have often hosted raids where people’s names don’t match, so then I can’t find them in my friend list… that makes hosting a real pita, and then I get reported for not inviting them, when the reason I didn’t is because their name didn’t match and I can’t find them. If the app would just let people change their names whenever, I could join raids with my actual new name and not get reported for the misspelling AND people hosting could avoid a lot of unnecessary crap because they could actually find the players who joined. I hesitate to host anymore because I’ve had multiple people whose names didn’t match report me for not inviting them, which is true bc their names weren’t even similar and I could not find them on my list. And since the app doesn’t know that their names didn’t match til after the raid, I have to go into five star raids with fewer players. It makes for a frustrating experience.

  • Does what it says with a minimum of fuss and flashiness.

My primary use is the Raid feature - which is not because I like raids, but because gifting is the fastest way to acquire EXP. At higher levels, EXP gained from catching and evolving barely makes a dent.

The PVP rankings are also awesome and taught me something new. I’ve found the system in this app agrees with other apps and databases around the web for the Little, Master, and Great leagues. However, there is disagreement when it comes to the Ultra leagues, about half the other resources are consistent with this app, but also there is a considerable number that duplicates the ranking of the Master league. In general this app favors a low attack for Master League, but other resources favor high overall IV and duplicate the Master rankings into their Ultra rankings.

However, the IV does not really make a huge difference. The same mon would perform almost the same if it’s IV were 100 or 40. It’s the mon itself and chosen moves along with fighting strategy that make the difference.

There’s a learning curve and occasional glitch or bug, but overall an awesome app and a game changer. When I show others, some are quick to use it themselves. Some tell me they have fun doing everything manually and don’t want to change the game by using the app.

This app helps me level quickly by making new friends plus also helps me identity which mons to throw away. I end up throwing away 99%.

  • Everything I thought was a lie!

I had recently reviewed this app as slightly sub par at best due to the vast range of IVs I found in pokemon and changing IVs from time to time (even without leveling up or powering up pokemon). But I discovered something… that rough percentage was very seldom right, a pokemon that was 91-98% IV could even be as low as 44%. Here’s the trick to perfect I’ve calculation Every. Single. Time. So I used to check the appraisal value of the pokemon through the app but then had no metric of how good it was. I then turned to IV checking apps and they were all hit or miss. But, if you appraise, and use this app on the same screen, (I bought the IVision for ease of use) with the exact attack, defense, and hp stats it will give you a 100% IV for any pokemon. Hope this helps. I will use this app forever. Also raids are cool. Join them.

  • This is a wonderful application!

This is a wonderful application, as a Pokémon fan I enjoy being able to play Pokémon GO one of the few games where we’re able to actually collect a decent amount of Pokémon without having to import them from home. Ahhh you guys know the struggle with the switch.

Now this app I don’t see advertisements. I’m sure they’re there, but I don’t pay attention. They don’t pop out at me. The app feels very simple to use. There’s a little bit of confusing UI. Pertaining to the stats IVs because they have to use single characters to identify stats. but nevertheless it's very wonderful and powerful tool to help identify your best Pokémon so you can better yourself as a Pokémon trainer and I believe that everybody that plays Pokémon go Seriously should add this application to their arsenal.

  • An excellent app!

Hi! Your remote raid system is awesome, so thank you! Your instructions for joining raids are pretty clear, but I was hoping you could add a little more to the page.

As a solo player (with almost no legendaries) I was excited to learn about this app. However, I didn’t have any experience with getting raid invites so when the host sent it out, I was still in the friends section of the PoGo app looking for a banner (totally my fault for being clueless). I did see the invite eventually but I missed out on the raid.

I was hoping you guys could give a little more direction on where to look for invite. It’s no big thing but it might help a few people from missing out on joining the raid lobby with their first try. Anyway, your app is really great so thanks again! Your queue system will make filling out my Pokédex much easier!
