No longer works since Apple update

I have updated my iOS and then updated this app. It did not fix the problem. It keeps crashing. Open a picture and press any button and the app closes. I have updated everything. Not paying for this again because of this bad experience. You have lost a customer. Been going on all week and still no fix

Sorry to hear this. In order that we can help you, please send us an internal log from within the Facetune app. To do this, just tap the Settings icon in the top right corner, then tap on Contact Us. A contact form will appear for you to enter the details of the issue. When you're done, tap Submit and we'll receive your message along with a log and receipt attachment for us to investigate further. We look forward to hearing from you.

Dissapointed

Been using Facetune since the original app, thought it was incredibly bad when they got rid of the original app ( that was paid for ) and then forced everyone to use facetune 2 which was subscription based and I then had to pay again for all of the features I had already paid for on the previous app. Some things for the previous app have been replaced so it's not as good as it was originally for natural photo editing. It's also now frozen and crashed my phone on multiple occasions. No other app does this.. with all this in mind Facetune really needs to sort itself out and stop being so money hungry. As paying for a low quality app like this no longer seems worth it.

Unreasonably overpriced and taking advantage of vulnerable individuals

The current state of the economy, coupled with the heightened insecurities people experience due to social media, has led this company to exploit vulnerable customers. There is absolutely no justification for the excessive pricing—especially when many of these features were once offered for free. This situation exemplifies artificial inflation: raising prices simply because competitors do, despite no necessity for such increases. Most features are now locked behind a paywall, and the platform has lost its user-friendly appeal. The once-helpful blue highlighting that showed edits clearly and the ability to adjust brush sizes have vanished. At $14 a month, or a yearly plan that totals $96, we are left feeling ripped off. Even the one-time payment option of $299 feels ridiculous. It's clear that corporate greed has taken precedence over user satisfaction, and I believe many share the sentiment that this is not a business model we want to endorse.

Thief/useless

All this website want to do is steal your money it’s literally a setup your first time using the app you literally can’t use any of the services without purchasing the unlimited access literally you can’t do anything in this app without buying it so they midest well make you pay to download the app. So you buy the unlimited access on a free trial and all of the sudden you forget and they charge your card and if your card is locked they charge another card that they have access to. Then when you try to request a refund for it because you don’t even use the app ur not eligible for a refund. Like how are you gonna make me pay for something I don’t want or use. They won’t even let you cancel the service and get your money back your just forced to have the app and they take your money. It’s literally all a set up because you can’t use 99 percent of the features without paying for it then when you don’t need it anymore your still paying for it and they don’t give u a receipt so u can tell ur bank. Literally I used the free trial one time when I first bought it and now a week later 64 freaking dollars is taken out of my account for something I literally don’t use. If they were honest a legit they would let your refund but since that’s the only way they make money I stealing from people there not going to. Moral of the story don’t get the app thinking it’s free

Thank you for your review. To clarify, while we do offer subscription plans, our app is free to download and can be used without a subscription. As a free user, there are some limitations, but you can still access and use a variety of tools without any cost.

Nothing but a scam!!

Signed up for free trial and next day after exploring the features decided to cancel the free trail as not what I was looking for. There is no option to cancel free trials on this app. Could not find the option to cancel. Search in app gives you directions to go to account then to cancel and there is no such function. The only thing close is an option to delete the app but clearly states if you delete the app you will still be charged. I Googled in how to cancel facetune and it gave me the same directions. Also found numerous complaints from others on not being able to cancel the free trial and being charged. People also stated they sent emails thru the support app and never got any response. I never received a receipt so could not call my credit card company or Apple Pay until the charge showed up as pending. Pretty slick app feature guaranteed to steal your money. I sent an email the day after signing up for free trial stating there was no way to cancel the free trial and wanted it cancelled—-surprise no response!!! Just charged me instead. Others noted the same thing and ended up having to pay the subscription fee. My charge came thru on Apple Pay so called Apple Support and they helped me cancel the charge. I luv Apple!!! Told Apple they need to remove this app from the App Store due to the apps nefarious practice would give them zero stars if I could.

Facetune you have upset me I’m trying to be loyal!

I was probably one of the first ever to use Facetune like yearssss ago when it was 100% free!!!! Now they’ve added so many features I was paying £5 a month then it went to about £8 then £10 a month and now it’s £10 a week! That’s £40 a month which is absurd I’m so disappointed :( I can’t even use basic features like vibrance which isn’t even editing myself it’s just enhancing a photo without having to pay £10 for only 7 days using the app. I’ve never been so upset over the app. I’m that loyal of a customer I still have the OG Facetune on my phone which isn’t even available to purchase on the App Store. If you want to bless me please contact me because I can’t afford £40 a month but I probably was one of the first to use your app for years and have told so many people about it<3

Just a thing.

I’m not really sure why I felt really compelled to say this right now at 4:14 AM lol, this is a little weird but that’s just how you know it’s from me. I mean, I’m a disabled individual. I have no I guess genetic or congenital disabilities. I have several physical chronic illnesses at this point, but mostly my main disability is my mental health, I have borderline personality disorder and crippling anxiety. I mean, severe panic disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, social anxiety almost to the point of agoraphobia. This isn’t just an app to just make girls look pretty or even just boys especially now look pretty … because everybody wants to look pretty. I use this app sometimes to look pretty lol, but I use this app because I can’t really use makeup or buy any or do all that effort sometimes a lot. I haven’t for years now. I can’t really maintain my skin and all that stuff like just breathing is hard for me. I have creativity inside my head and inside my heart that is meaningful to me anyway, and I need to express my crazy art no matter what my abilities are because my abilities will always not be very able. This app lets me do that thing and my God no matter what it cost, I could never put a price tag on that.

Stuck like that

I have had this app for a while now and it’s a good app, but it on my Home Screen it looks like it’s updating as it has that loading grey cover over it (letting me know how far along the update is) well it’s stuck like that. It has been “updating” for over 24hours now but it looks like it’s almost done but it’s not, it’s stuck like that and I can’t open the app I can’t delete the app, it’s just stuck like that and I dont know what to do or how to undo that. Please fix this glitch!

To whom this may concern

I bought this app years ago. I bought all it’s full features it cost me roughly about $30 I did have the free version in the beginning just to see if I liked it and then I bought the full version with all the features and it was supposed to be mine forever to keep because I paid for it. I paid for the whole app the whole license to have it.

Now, When I wanted to use it again I couldn’t find it on my phone which was odd to me but didn’t think much of it I thought maybe I might’ve deleted by accident off my phone so I downloaded it again now I don’t understand why I have to pay for a subscription when I’ve already paid for the whole license to keep it forever and use it whenever I want to. What happened am I able to get the features back because I have paid for the whole entire apps license? I’m not very happy. I want my money back if I can’t have the app the way I used to have it, please can you sort this out? I don’t wanna pay for a subscription when I’ve paid for the whole license. it’s not fair. I want my money back if that’s how the game goes. i’m just saying when you buy something you shouldn’t have to pay for it again and again and again.

new updates have ruined this app

i used to use this app so much and i used to love it, it was such a good editing, if even the best out there! but after the new updates where they have started to make you pay for additional features which were free before it’s been totally ruined. I used to use this app very very often and unfortunately due to the unacceptable updates and new changes to this app. after being a very loyal user for more than a year i have to now find a new one. please i request the developers bring back the old face tune. and maybe add ads instead of payment for little thinks such as the reshape tool or the makeup etc etc thank you for the lil rant
