A 3 year old who’d rather do math than play!!!!
I was skeptical of an app helping and not having a negative effect for screen time. But I am sold.
Our daughter loves the elephant app. Not only has she had incredible wins and gains since starting, she gets excited by her own progress.
The levels continue to repeat until she gets it understanding of it and I have noticed a massive growth in her skill.
At 3.5 years old she’s already beyond a 5 year olds math comprehension.

Great learning app
My daughter is enjoying this app...no problems at all except she has a hard time understanding the robotic voices at times.
Very Useful
Elephant Learning has been very beneficial for our sons. They have learned such a great deal in a short amount of time. The app is easy to use, even for my three year old. The only suggestion I have is to make the voices less robotic sounding and differentiate the activities a bit.
Not great
I did have to sign in with a credit card but there is a three day cancellation. So I canceled same day after allowing each of my three children to try using this app. The application has many different levels but they are marked with cartoon characters rather than a description of the math function that is taught at that level. The voice is robotic and has a British English accent. It is also very very slow to load each level. And every time you back out of the level it changes back to the first child’s profile. It doesn’t adapt to the expected level of the child based on the age but starts even my older child off at a five-year-old level. Then again my five-year-old had access to what would probably be third or fourth grade mathematic which she selected based on the cuteness of the cartoon character that represented it. I wanted to love this app and I hope they make major improvements such as adding a repeat button for children who cannot read the very tiny word problem Text. The problem should be presented in numeric format and read to the students several ways. I believe this app has great potential but it is not ready yet. I did like that they allowed for sliding fees based on income so that is very helpful as a single parent who does homeschool.

App Needs Work
The app doesn’t work very well (glitchy) and lacks the excitement that other apps possess. Splash Math and ABC Mouse are way less expensive and have a much better design. Developer requires direct contact during cancellation and scolded me for cancelling. I can see why others have been dissatisfied with the customer service.

Super glitchy app
I installed this app on my iPad and the Kindle version on a brand new kindles as well. I really like the idea behind this app, and was excited about our subscription. Unfortunately the apps on both devices were totally glitchy. My kids couldn't play more than 2 to 3 minutes at a time without the app exiting right in the middle of a game. Half the time, the instructions took 10 seconds before they even started, which is on intolerably long time for a two or a four or a six-year-old to wait. The other half of the time, the app did not recognize my children's fingers touching the screen, or didn't respond to it at least, despite the fact that every other app on my devices recognizes and responds to my children's fingers just fine (so I know it's not just that the screen is dirty or their fingers are dirty). All in all, I really wanted to like this app and subscription, but an hour of children getting more and more frustrated is not my idea of fun math.

They deliver what they promise this is what matters
Elephant Learning is amazing. Not only have I been recommending this academy to my friends, but my non-profit is helping kids from low-income families get access to this application because it does help kids learn a year of math in 3 months! And so far kids we have been giving it to enjoy using it! You sign up, get your child evaluated and it places your child based on his knowledge so they are being given right activities at the right time. There is always guidance available for parents in personalized parent cabinet, help is available on their Facebook page and it is beyond what I was expecting. These math professors really do know what they do.

This app is not usable unless you pay for it. I thought ai was downloading a free app but you can not use the app without sending them your email first. Then the email takes you to a page to pay for the app.
From One Parent to Another: Save Your Time & $
Horrible customer service. They were very rude to me, a parent and a customer. Also, the app itself is repetitive in the gameplay (offers dozens of games, but they're all the same games, just different themes and icons). Boring after some time for kids. It's also really difficult to understand the robotic voices on some of the games. They're all British accents and computerized so kids may not be able to make out some of the questions.
