Subtle wokery and too many ads!!
Have had this game for years and it’s got me thru nights on insomnia. But two major things for me are there is an ad after every level. And if you come out of the game say, to check a message, when you come back and as with start before you can get back into the game. Also today I noticed (and hadn’t checked or changed theme for years) that the CHRISTMAS theme is nowhere. I clicked on what is called “winter” theme …and suddenly my game has Christmas decorations. Christmas Christmas Christmas ! Mass for Christ. Jesus’ birthday. The Messiah’s birth. America needs to learn the art of pushing back! It’s a Christmas theme!! So say CHRISTMAS. only saving Grace of this game is that it’s pretty strict on no crass language (as fun and valid as they may be). Am contemplating deleting this game after being unable to find the Christmas theme, for ages! Ps. Christmas Christmas Christmas. CHRISTmas. CHRISTmas CHRISTmas Christmas.

My progress is gone.
Yes you heard the title. MY PROGRESS IS GONE!! And here’s why: So I updated the game and I was just chilling so it’ll update. Once it fully updated I went on the app and.. I was back to level one. Yes you heard that right, LEVEL ONE!! And the hints are now 100 coins, the picker is 200 coins and the magic wand 300 coins. The hints used to be 25 coins, the picker used to be 75 coins and the magic wand used to be 100 coins. I think these are ridiculous prices ( 100,200,300 ) and It needs to be changed I went on settings and it said “ save your progress “ it was 50 coins and once I got 50 coins I pressed on that and.. it told me to sign in. LIKE I AINT SIGNING IN!!! Do NOT update and do NOT make the same mistake I did. The level I was on before I updated it was apricot 07 or 09. Also there’s a new thanksgiving theme and I requested for summer theme so I scrolled in the themes section AND NO SUMMER THEME so I’m being ignored as well. I wouldn’t have edited my review to this if - I didn’t update it - if developers didn’t make an update to word cookies like this. It also got rid of my baking points, idk about my coins, my completed quests.. Also, I don’t even like this updated word cookies BRING BACK THE OLD WORD COOKIES!!! I need a developer to see and respond to this ASAP Thanks for reading this with your time

Them so I could continue playing. I started playing this game to help me with my spelling and it’s truly helped me.
I’m a 48 year old woman and I’ve always had trouble with my spelling.
This has helped me so much with it and also with learning new words which I love.
I just wish I could have more ways to earn coins as a lot of your words are American and I’m Australian some of the words I’ve never heard of. Which is also great.

Ads make game unplayable
I used to love this game when I needed something to do to kill some time, but I had to delete it because recently there is so many ads it makes it unplayable. Especially because half of the ads or in game promotions that pop up freeze the game, last time I went into the app another in game promotion popped up and will not go off the screen making the entire game unable to play.

Far to many stupid adverts ruin the game so will probably delete it soon and you won’t let me chose a nick name so I can’t send review very clever. So I have given 5 stars to see if I can beat you😂 There is an add that comes up about boilers or something. If I accidentally click it , I go onto their website and have no way to leave the page. All I can do is turn off my computer!!! It’s so annoying and surely illegal!! I’ve been playing this game for years but if this doesn’t stop I will be forced to delete you. Your choice

Stop with the new flashing double hints
I generally like this game because it is challenging but I rarely need the hints until I have played hundreds of levels. So imagine how annoying it was to try to concentrate when you have these new animated hints that twinkle for 20 hours when you are trying to focus on forming words. Also, if you are going to make a word game, especially with anagrams, you should ensure all words are included. That doesn't happen with this game and you have had enough updates to include corrections. There are obvious words that keep getting missed, some words you can count sometimes but not others, plurals you can use sometimes but not others and on and on. Then suddenly you throw in a level where obvious words don’t count and crazy 2- and 3-letter words do, and then you revert to normal again. PLEASE have a few people who are really good at anagrams point out all these flaws for each puzzle and fix them. Otherwise I won’t spend a dime and I won’t recommend the game. If the flashing hints continue I will delete.

Word Cookies is a fun family friendly game. Me and my family play it all the time and have so much fun. The only thing that I don’t like about it is that there is lots of ads normally an ad pops up right after you play a level but other than that I recommend this to all kids at least 5+ it will really help will vocabulary 😉. For moms out there you might want your kids to read a little more but they don’t want to or, you might want to help them in English but they don’t want to which is a big problem this will not only help them with vocabulary but it family fun, free, and your child will want to play a round or two once a day! This might not seem like a vocabulary game but, if your child guess a word and don’t know what it means all they have to do is to click AZ book and they’ll get the word and, you can unscramble new words and, make new words. It’s all of that in one game! That’s what a typical mom wants with there kids. Right?

Fun!
Fun, easy, keeps my brain working while I relax, not too many ads! I recommend this to anyone who likes word puzzles
It’s turned stupid
Been playing this for some time. On and off. Was there a finish line? Yes there was, then extra levels were added and you could work your way through them. Good oh. Move to a different game. Then hundreds of levels were added I.e 720 at a time, that’s ok. Now the end is forever away. That’s ok. Sort of. Let’s talk about the words that are the answers. Now they use words you have never ever heard of and would never use. How about Dizygous, stupid stupid. That to me makes no sense. Its made this game stupid, there really is no point in playing any more.
