All apps gone?

When you first download the app, nothing in works at all. But soon after, it may take months or days you may lose all your apps. For me, the only apps I has were those that were already pre installed with my phone. But I have seen others lose the APP STORE, which I didn’t even think was remotely POSSIBLE.

Don’t download this app, you gain nothing, and Apple already has these feature in settings.

Although you may panic at the thought of losing your apps you can still save the.

First go to settings.
In settings, go to “screen time”
Under screen time, head to the “content and privacy restrictions” tab
Once your there, head to device administrators
Finally, disable safe family.

To unhide these apps, you may need to delete the Safe Family Management profile. Doesn’t control screen usage

The app work on some of my kids phone and not in other ones. Doesn’t control the screen time . It’s really frustrating why works on one device and not in another

Not for iPhone

Useless!
Went back to using Apple’ own Downtime. Do not contact me, I will not change my mind.

Works then doesn’t

Worked for <day then stopped tracking activities. Worse, it seems to slow browsing down on apps that are allowed to the point the internet is unusable. Also pauses device for screen time rules when it’s *inside* the allowed time. App written by the work experience guy with no effort to improve or even maintain.

What a trash

Don’t try it in iPad, it doesn’t work just waste your time

Complicated…

Used McAfee Safe Family to safeguard an 11 year old daughter with a laptop, mostly for school work but also used for games like Minecraft.
Unable to log in today via the iOS app on my phone. Email address and password used but then the login graphic just keeps spinning. When it finishes, it’s still on the login screen.
Tried resetting password. Still the same.
Tried deleting and reinstalling. Still the same.
When it is working, I have noticed that although I can set internet screen time that blocks the internet browser from connecting to the internet, she can still play online games through apps on her laptop.
Even when internet activity is manually paused, she can still play online games via apps on her laptop but cannot access any webpages through her browser.
I don’t see much point in installing this app when it doesn’t seem to provide the level of control or protection required or often, the ability to actually login!

Delete from all devices

This app deleted half of my apps, including my camera. I’m never downloading this app again

Not intuitive poorly configured to setup

It’s not great. It’s not intuitive especially the calendar setup. These apps are a very hard sell with your kids so when you agree time and dates it needs to be right. I’m not sure if I’m selecting a day or deselecting it. When you load a time you hit save nothing changes. You have to hit the AM time to get the PM time to load and then hit save for it to load. I find it very poorly configured and confusing.

Doesn’t work for IOS

Don’t download this app on any apple device, it will cause a lot of frustration and it will make any apple device less secure.
