Reviews of Oculigami for Painting

  • Great app! ...but...

A lot of work went into this application! It’s also unique. Notable areas of improvement would be ease of use w/ controls and workflow. *But one serious important request. Please have the export formats either engage with Apple’s new file folder, or be able to share it directly to another app. My iCloud is full. And if I don’t have Internet, I need somewhere to get the SVG file to my other vector editing programs on my tablet. Right now your beautiful program is useless to me because I cannot acquire The output file with exception to the PNG in my album.

    Developer Response

Hi Bill, thanks for the comments, the app does save the SVG and EPS files to the file folder app. In that "files folder" app, there will be a new folder in there with this app's name "Oculigami" and that is the place they are saved, (the files folder app really is a form of iCloud though, so that maybe what you are seeing when you mentioned your iCloud is "full"). As far as the controls and workflow, This app is somewhat similar in to photoshop in that respect, (there is a steep but necessary learning curve at beginning), it does have a lot of functionality packed in a tight space, so watching the tutorials is essential to understanding how to get at those tools, possibly going back to them once or twice... (on slow connections these tutorial videos will take a long time to load, in that case one may want to go to the website from a computer and watch them from there)
