Package installer is terrible
Solid, useful, needs more work
What’s this app needs is a console so you could interact with R one line at a time instead of running whole script. For now, the workaround is to select some lines of code and run them, then check a different window for output. Not a great workflow.

Thank you for your feedback! We have taken note of your suggestions!
Super satisfied, I love it.

Hello Kiarra, Please do not worry. If you have purchased the one-time offer, you are not required to subscribe. Simply select ‘Restore Purchases’. We have added a subscription option since the release of R 4.0 as it is becoming extremely expensive for us to maintain all the packages for all the versions. So in your case, you won’t be charged again at all.
R on iOS Great
I would like to suggest
On the “File” menu I’d like to suggest
- Add common File actions like “New”, “Save”, and “Save As...”. I know for “New” equivalent it’s possible to go to Open and create a file there but that requires multiple steps where on a normal application its a single step.
On the package area, I’d also like to suggest
- some sort of “filter” of existing packages to allow the user to find if a given package has already installed
- click on the package and get the info for the package.
- not sure how to determine if latest package is installed or not
Other Miscellaneous item
I find the short cut key to clear on input and source area, not sure how to clear he “Output” area
No ads please

Kindly go to Settings and select Upgrade.
Ok but needs work
Great app, great support!
I had one gripe with it - I couldn’t access the files I created within the app using the iOS “Files” app. I reported this to the developer and within 24 hours this was added and a new release rolled out on the App Store! Excellent customer service!
I highly recommend this app to anyone looking to use R on their iPad.
ICloud Drive Limited
The big problem is with ICloud integration. I assumed that I would be able to open, edit, run, save files anywhere on the ICloud Drive. Instead, the app seems to be limited to only the ‘R Compiler’ directory.
Pretty sure that browsing throughout ICloud Drive is possible. Plenty of other apps are able to do it.
*** UPDATE ***
I understand that it’s a trade-off with auto-save, but I would rather have full access to all of my ICloud Drive.
Response from developer
Hello! Thank you for your feedback! This app has an auto-save feature that needs a dedicated folder to update files in the background. It is not possible to auto save in other iCloud locations without the user interaction.
Pretty solid
Outstanding app
