Rip off
Buying the game does not grant you access to all the content. They want more money for that..... The gameplay is buggy and repetitive. Don't waste your money!
Entertaining and nostalgic
Excellent game. Tin Man Games raised the bar with this one. They know story telling and this is a great adaptation of the original gamebook. The graphics—especially the way rooms fall into view—and the use of 'miniatures' is a nice touch without being gimmicky.
Well done. Add auto rotation so I don't have to relearn right and left ;-)
I understand the gripes about save points, but this gamebook implements them in a smart manner consistent with old-school game mechanics. Games used to have consequences. Complaining about having to replay a small portion of the game? I don't get that—you're playing a game!

Gets dull fast.
This game is more like the old game Dragons Lair as in it's purely trial and error (Dragons Lair had better graphics.) That gets pretty boring after a while. I was hoping it was more of a Rogue Like where every game is unique but nope, it's the same every time. I would like to say story but barely any story is being told. Too many DT's and if you missed something, there is no going back. Once again, pretty boring stuff.

Falconhoof! Great game!
Loved these books as a kid. This game is great fun and brings the book to life perfectly. Please do more!
Astonishingly bad
A combat mechanic that could never have survived user testing. I can only surmise they didn't bother
Waste of time
Game would be good if you did not spend an hour to then die and have to do this boring crap over again. I am unable to do it a third time, too bad could of been good. Now, I hate this game with a passion.
Meh...
...I played this in the book format when I was growing up & good old fashioned paper & pen is far easier to understand than the long winded & confusing combat this digital version offers. I mean I am doing the 'tutorial' combat & I don't understand it. Perhaps combat would be better using a digital 'paper & pen' than the confusing thing they've got in this game. Maybe it's because I'm old but I just don't get it...*mumbles & goes off to seek out 'Knightmare' on 'YouTube'*

AWESOME GAME
This game is perfect if you like the dungeon dragon like games... it's simple, the story is immersive. My only regret is the fact that you can only play one character and not a whole team of adventurers(being able to recruit allies would be nice)
Really amateur problems
Ok so save points in a mobile game is something I would expect students to do in a free app but a $5 app. Be real here. Then no auto rotate. You do know that most case flip like a book in the US right? Which mean the game is locked upside down. Again student free app mistake not $5 app mistake. Fix these issues and I will reevaluate this but as or now this is a 1 star app at a 5 star app price.

Unique but not really that fun
I was looking forward to this title but I find myself asking if I just need another round to settle on an opinion. The combat is really strange too. I can't tell if the opponents just move in a pattern or react to you. Also, you basically have no chance to win unless you're off centre from them and attack at an empty space that they step into. It's like a game of chess when each piece moves at the same time.
