This is the kind of game I've been waiting for all my life. It's really really good. Please fix the rotation problem. Not sure why it does this
I enjoy this game
It is a pretty fun strategy game. The reading and photos are fun, as well as the many options. Auto rotate would be nice and I assume that I will see it soon.
Nostalgia trip.
So the game is gorgeous to look at, it plays mostly just like the book, read a paragraph of descriptive text, make a decision and hope the outcome is good, interspaced with some occasional fighting. Its a nice change of pace compared to some games. What lets it down is having to pay for more characters instead of earning or unlocking them. The game has some replay value for sure but repetition without a better incentive can be a real drag. I hope more are in the pipeline (Deathtrap Dungeon please!!) Just sort the cost of additional characters out.

I have all the Tinman game books and was really looking forward to this, but the combat is laughable and drawn out - and unskippable. The new sections of story/dialogue are poorly written and quite childish in tone, and don't fit with the original writing. Very disappointed actually. Some nice ideas, but seriously, the combat is dreadful..

Could have been GREAT...!
Great idea, less than stellar implementation. I loved this book as a kid, and making it come alive with beautiful graphics and sound is wonderful. However, the repetitiveness due to the save points is ghastly, and the lack of auto rotate a glaring omission. Such a missed opportunity..
No auto rotate
This is a great game but out of frustration, I stopped playing. No auto rotate. Fix for five stars.
Fantastic!
I had all the FF series of books when I was a kid, and the fact that it's now come as a playable game on iOS is awesome. I've only just started, and it already brings back so many good memories of my days as a kid reading these books to the wee hours of the morning. Keep them coming, and I'll be buying all of them.

Good game, but....
I love the idea of this game. It's exactly like playing a tabletop RPG. The graphics and sound effects are quite good.
All of that being said, the game makes use of my least favorite video game mechanic: the save point. This means that when you die, your character respawns at the last save point. This leads to repeating challenges you have already passed successfully.
My hatred for save points is actually strong enough that I ended up deleting the game.
