  • Great personal app

This is is a great app that helps you keep track of whatever you’re trying to work on. It doesn’t shame you, make you feel bad or doubt yourself. In fact it’s the exact opposite, it gently guides you and promotes you with uplifting thoughts and encouragement. It’s customizable and anonymous. Looking to help yourself, download and try it. I’ve been using it on and off (judgement free) for years! Stay strong.

  • Sober Days 🙃🙂

My days being sober are being spent productivity, I am Healing ❤️‍🩹 & so thankful God brought me out of my addiction Alive, healthy & capable to move forward in life! I can not explain the feelings I am having because there are so many emotions I had bottled up that are explosive on a daily! I thank God my children are alive and well, I have some shame and lots of guilt for not being the mother they know I truly am. For hurting my children physically emotionally but My God will assure they stay spiritually aware, I pray they can forgive me & we can move on in life being happy like we were a couple of years ago. Thank You father for Blessing me with the wisdom & strength to overcome all the obstacles thrown my way. I can not imagine my life not knowing, believing in you or turning my back on you. Gods the only one ever here for me when I need someone and I’m all alone! Thank You father for the people you have put in my life today, yesterday & tomorrow father because I know we’re all connected and a part of your plan. • Easy Tracker

I downloaded a few other apps first and they were confusing but this one is super easy! It gives you your sober time right on the Home Screen and as some other small features like journaling. I really appreciate that the amount of time sober is the first thing you see and it makes it easy to track. Starts counting when you download

  • Waste of time - don’t bother

I cannot believe that an app designed to support people struggling with addictions has so many ads that can be triggering to such addictions. After I installed the app and it told me it would show a limited number of ads, I could not navigate from feature to feature without having to sit through an ad. I was on the app for all of 2 minutes, and in that time I had to endure 3 ads - taking up a minute and a half of the time I was in the app. There are many far better apps out there designed to actually support an individual struggling with addiction.

  • Simple and effective app!

This app is great as it is FREE and works just as great (if not better) than the ones that cost! A perk to this app is that you can journal your daily thoughts as you go through this journey. It’s in a private place, within the app, that nobody else will see. What started as a short term goal for myself looks to be a forever lifestyle change for me. This app has helped tremendously with self accountability. Thank you!

  • An Ad Nightmare

I have zero respect for any app or website that boasts sobriety and recovery as their mission, yet within the first 10 mins of my usage, 2 full-page ads for gambling apps that are required to be watched in their entirety before moving within the app. DISGUSTING! Addiction comes in many forms, and gambling is one of the most devastating. For those of us struggling with or touched by addiction, we know all too well how one addiction can be swapped for another. This app and it’s developers should be ASHAMED of themselves!!! I will be reporting this app and will steer anyone away if they find themselves in need of these services, and also posting warnings on Reddit and other social communities. You are taking advantage of people in one of their most vulnerable times.

    Developer Response

Hello Recovery Watchdog, Sober Time is a free app supported by ads. The ads keep the app accessible to everyone while supporting maintenance and further development of Sober Time. We have blocked certain categories of ads, like alcohol or gambling, so you shouldn't see this. It might be that the ad in question was incorrectly categorized by an advertiser. If you could forward us more detail of the ad(s) in question we can get them blocked and removed. Email us at support@sociosoftware.com.
  • Devs need to change their ad model

I understand that ads pay for the app, I really do. I want to give this 5 stars as well, because the execution of the app is beautiful. However, there are enough ads to make someone want to fall off the wagon. Not to mention, the ads are gambling based! Not something that should be advertised to people with addictions. If the devs have even the slightest sliver of ethics, this should be addressed. I don’t mind the ads. Keep it relevant though.
