  • FAIL

Crashes, and does not work. I want my money back.
  • Doesn't load.

I love all the other apps from this developer, so had high hopes for this. Unfortunately it won't even load on my iPad2. Hopefully a fix will be forthcoming quickly, else it's a waste of £2.99.

    Update 31-1-17
Updated ios to 9.3.2. App now loads, occasionally, but often crashes. When it does load, everything appears to work, EXCEPT the depth bit, which is why I bought it. Have had no further communication with developers, so it's still a waste of £2.99.

    Update 24-3-17
Still doesn't work, developers seem to have lost interest into solving it. Total waste of money. Don't buy it.

  • nice results

fairly quick workflow but there are some annoyances.. sliders buttons are too small and you end up moving the mask around sometimes instead.. moving and zooming is a bit clunky.. also when changing apertures setting the mask moves and there are other weird interface quirks that make it less than great. .. i like the feathering on the mask, it gives nice results but maybe the brush area is too far above where you press.. some wider selection of lens glares etc will be welcome.. i'm liking it, the blurs are nice just keep the improvements coming thanks :)

  • On the way to being excellent

Hi BFM, sorry to report this is running a little sluggish on my iPhone 6+ when trying to move and rotate the masks. The brush tool is working fine though.
Also, when you crank up the blur effect it looks weird… shouldn't it convert to Gaussian?
  • DepthEffects

A great app to complement all photo apps.
Gives great depth of field and some lense filters.
  • Won't open

Paid for the app. Started the app. Stared at splash screen for a few minutes. App crashes. I'm hoping this will be fixed.
  • Excellent, As Usual

What sets Brainfever Media photo apps apart is their ease-of-use and clean layout. I have everyone of their photo apps and have not been disappointed. On the surface, this app includes much of what the others offer with the addition of the depth-of-field effect (with great controls). However, what I love about using ALL of their apps is I don't feel confused about which one to use for what situation, and they all perform and interact well. And another thing I appreciate is that all of their apps promote creativity and provide options that most other photo apps just don't offer. Want an alien spaceship or dinosaur? No problem! Flaming meteor of fire? Umm...of course!!! Is there a grass field in the way where you'd like to see a river? Yeah, why not. Just add a body of water! :D Anyway, I really appreciate the fact that they don't just pump out your average, run-of-the-mill photo app, but make them all unique and special - and of high-quality!

  • don't waste your money

look elsewhere for this kind of app
try "snapseed" it's a favorite and has so much more..this is a big disappointment..i should have known, i didn't care for the lens effects
  • Great idea 👍🏻

Nice way to get the depth effect on older iPhones. Similar, great layout as other Brainfever apps.
  • Not Too Impressive

I'm a big fan of this company's other photo editing apps, but this one fell short of their usual great stuff. I love this company's apps because they bring me new things I can't find in other photo apps-but this one-everything on it I already have in other photo editing apps.
