Scanning input that works
I have been testing this Data base for several weeks and at first thought it had a long way to go, however, the journey so far has been rewarding, the functionality has improved a lot and I am confident that this improvement trend will continue.
Other db’s that I have also tested have failed by functions that do not work, no interest for improvement from developers and / or becoming a continuous payment drain.
Cozzo Has made a significant leap forward by the inclusion of a scanner input that really works, this function is right where it is needed and is very quick and easy to use. As far as shearing a shopping list with a partner / friend, there is a direct send button to text a shopping list to others, this seems to work well but is not an interactive link, just a text list of the items in that list.
Allas I there is no possibility to edit the very comprehensive fixed category list in any way, and personally, I would prefer to know where I stored items (I have little care that e.g. ‘Milk’ is a ‘dairy’ product etc.) however, if like me you have more than one freezer and several cupboards (and an ageing brain) finding and remembering where an item is probably a lot more important than knowing what category food is in. So, for the developers, please may we have a location input possibility and an interactive link for partner/spouse/friend etc.
As for my score mark, I can give this app 5 stars and confidently recommend it. This is on the basis that I can see the developer’s enthusiastic commitment to the continued improvement of this already advanced app, that in the future could well become the shopping benchmark standard.

Dear Ww, Thank you for trying out the barcode scanner feature of CozZo. A tip to make your scanning even better - you can assign multiple barcodes to a single name. Just edit/enter the name after the scan. We will improve this capability by adding a "magic" button that will automatically suggest a simple name for your product. In two weeks we're releasing CozZo 2.0, which will allow you to automatically share a shopping list and inventory between 10 devices(iPhone/iPad). The simple share feature will be also available if you want to send to a person with an Android phone. The storage places for the products will be supported by the next major CozZo release - 2.1. The app will use the product categories to sort the products automatically or you can specify a custom storage place. Best, Ivo
Great way to keep track of food
I love this app since it keeps track of your fridge and pantry items. One thing that this app does that a lot of others don’t is it automatically tracks the expiration of the foods you enter. It gives you a lot of features out of the box during quick entry but adapts to your usage the more you use it and gives you a natural shopping list of the things you’ve gone through

Love from first sight
stayed with tis one after trying a few. Won me over from first run - it gets your pantry sorted out in a minute with tinder-like cards. Works like charm, excellent reminders, lots of fetures.
Saving me food waste and money already
This app is brilliant. Although I’ve only had it a week and I’m still populating it with my pantry and freezer goods, it has already saved me food waste and money on shopping this week.
I would give it five stars, but I’d like to see two improvements first.
1. The ability to add stores and to sort the shopping list by store.
2. The ability to tick off individual packs as used to keep track of the number of packs in my larder.
This would then make the app perfect.

Thanks for the honest review. We are planning to add a feature that will allow you to have many shopping lists and you can tag a store for each of them. Would that work for you? You can reduce the number of packs for a product in your inventory by tapping on the product and then tapping on + / - buttons.
You don’t yet know how much you need this app!
I started using CogZum a couple weeks ago on a whim. Little did I know, how this app seems so essential to a millennial me who is also environmentally conscious and of course, financially too!
It takes a while to get hooked to the app but it is super helpful in maintaining your refrigerator inventory. I am not certain about the amount of money I’m saving but I’m certainly wasting less food than before and I hope, with time, I’ll get more used to the app and it will only result into lesser or no wastage of food at all.
Until now, I’ve relied on iPhone list but with CogZum, it’s a lot easier and more wholesome.

Great app
Doing grocery shopping is so much easier with this app. Simple enough and really good at popping only the info that I want to see on the home screen. No ads or other irritating stuff.

I was using another shop list app, but this one is better. Having a list of what is in my home makes it a lot easier to plan. Expiry reminders are a great idea, love them. Use Within is very useful too!
Great app to help on food shopping

More than a shop list
Was looking for shop list app and found this one. Does the list job, but on top of that moves whatever I choose to a home list and reminds me of what may go bad. Actually, the home list is now my fav feature - it feels good to be in control.
CogZum compliments online grocery shopping perfectly
CogZum is brilliant! I moved from in-store grocery shopping to online shopping a few years ago thinking I would cut down on waste and save money because I would only buy what I need. Unfortunately, the opposite happened. I found that I usually bought more than I needed because I'm not always near my fridge when I do my order to check what I still had and since I didn't have to carry things I didn't think twice about adding items to my cart that I didn't really need.
Thankfully, CogZum has come to the rescue! It's intuitive, user-friendly interface made it easy for me to quickly build my shopping list and since the app automatically tracks expiry dates and food volume it means that I always know what I need to buy and what I don't. I may not be near my fridge when I do my online grocery order but I always have my phone with me. Food waste has decreased significantly since I no longer over-buy. Best of all, unlike other apps, you only need to enter a product once. The app remembers your preferences and becomes smarter the more you use it.
