Reviews of FoodShiner

I’m impressed

I started using this today. I like the pantry feature. I like that this app is free and I hope it sticks around.

Update: I haven’t had any issues with bugs. This app is better than other free apps I have tried. Thank you for continuing to support and maintain the functionality of this app.

Response from developer

Hi Xinkzeo, Thank you for using FoodShiner and with that trying to prevent food wastage and save the planet. Thank you for your kind review too. The App is available since May 2020 and I‘m positive that it’ll stay longer. If you want to support us: spread the word about the app (we don‘t nag users to do it), if its financially possible for you, you can also support us for maintenance and adding more features using the tipping functionality in the app (be warned: you‘ll get all the features for free - its a tip, nothing more, nothing less) - this enables me to keep the app free for everyone. Please don‘t hesitate to contact me if you have any further questions, ideas for missing features or even problems using FoodShiner via support@foodshiner.app or via the support functionality in the settings of FoodShiner. Best regards Idriss

Great but no support and very complicated

I love the app in general, great way to organize food inventory, including emergency supplies before they expire in a closet. This app could be really helpful, but customer support does not reply to clarify how to use certain features. Also, editing any products seems to reset the expiration date to the current date. If support would ever reply to messages, I’d consider a higher review, but for now, I try using it best I can while expecting I’m going to do omit wrong and mess up the expiration dates. Been awhile. Still zero contact from support. The app is OK, but complicated without any response, and won’t keep expiration date when editing.

Still waiting over one month. No support response.
