  • The rhyming is not working

The rhyming is just a distraction to the story. Most of them are so forced and do not really flow.
  • Amazing game, nowhere close to lame

The art style is stunning, nothing worth shunning.
The story is very complex, same with all all the rhyming text. The sound track took me by surprise, just listening to it was a prize. I'd recommend this game without a doubt, it certainly didn't make me pout.
  • Good with some flaws

Good adventure game with some memorable characters and scenes. The music is excellent, and the art (especially the character animations) is great. I found the rhyme gimmick cloying and distracting, because it didn't follow any meter, and a lot of the text in the game was awkward and forced to make it rhyme. Some of the puzzles are a bit random (btw, why do the most random puzzles always involve frogs?) and it's made a little worse because sometimes you have the right idea but you dragged the item to slightly the wrong place. But that's sort of par for this kind of game. Overall, I definitely enjoyed it and recommend for adventure fans.

One bug I encountered was Ruth getting indefinitely stuck when she was auto-running down the ramp in the engine room at the end. Fortunately it worked after force-quitting and loading a save.

  • A Celestial Little Adventure!

A fantastic little adventure game from Norway. Made all the more emotive as I have worked for a large Norwegian dairy company. And having visited some farms (all be it for goat's milk and not cow) the game really expresses the Norwegians' love of their farm animals and of the land they live in.

A beautifully simple yet colourful animation and with wonderfully wistful music. Full of peril, puzzle solving, great story telling, triumph and a little sadness for added drama! For the whole game, you are willing the heroine on and become entangled in this micro world. Very impressed and cannot recommend highly enough :)

  • Cute but the rhymes are obnoxious

This is really cute game and I'd love to keep playing it, but everything is written in rhyme, it comes scross extremely forced and it it's too distracting for me. It's like reading everything backwards, in order for everything to rhyme more words are used than necessary in a game genre that can already be a bit tedious. Everything else is great, and maybe it's just me and a pet peeve of mine, but forced rhymes are just intolerably distracting.

  • Cute old school game

Lovingly produced, quirky and amusing. Also has that annoying genre trait of (some) puzzles that boil down to trying random solutions because the hints are too fleeting or obscure. (Pay very close attention to the "verse"—it holds many clues.)
  • Unique adventure

Played it all the way through in 2 days & i had a lot of fun. It's an awesome unique story with fun puzzles to solve. I really wish it were longer, but the story that it was was worth it. I'd recommend it to anyone wanting to play a short, cute, odd little story puzzle. Please make more like this!
  • Wow, so much charm!

The world building in this game is just lovely—obviously made with care. It's short—if you are good at these kinds of games. The puzzles are all pretty logical, although the use of the frog is a little random. The music and art is great, and being able to run is a relief for these kinds of games. I'm going to keep my eye on this developer!

  • An astounding adventure

Congratulations on making such a brilliant game Mattis! I won't say much, but I will say this: When I backed Double Fine Adventure, I was expecting exactly what you delivered; a fun, exciting, pixelated, text-based point and click joy-filled adventure. Today, you made that a reality for me. I feel nostalgic and fulfilled. Highly recommended everyone!

  • Quick game but very fun

Only took me a couple of hours to beat but it was a great game! Challenging but not too hard. Wish it would have been longer.
